I went to buy a Acura RDX. I explained that I wanted to pay with cash. I asked about a lease and they ran with it. I thought I could change it for a newer one and they screwed me. Acura of Brooklyn locked me in a contract. I one I got from them was not New. I went somewhere else. And Paragon I explained what happened and they got me again. They are making me pay for two cars. My payment will pay over a hundred thousand dollars. My payment is 1420 a month.

Just left with utter disappointment

This review is specifically meant to describe my experience with Cerritos.Acura of California.I had a very disappointing experience with Cerritos Acura. I was quoted a specific price via text message, which I confirmed before making the trip. Based on that written quote, I drove roughly 70 miles to the dealership.Once there, I spent time with the vehicle, test drove it, and genuinely fell in love with the car. Only after investing all that time did the dealership suddenly change the deal and add an additional $1,000 that was never mentioned in the original quote. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch situation. If the price was not accurate, that should have been disclosed upfront—especially before asking a customer to travel such a long distance. Changing the deal at the last minute wasted my time and felt dishonest.I would strongly advise anyone considering Cerritos Acura to get everything in writing and be cautious, as the final numbers may not match what you’re initially quoted.

Many problems with my Acura RDX 2021

Many problems with my Acura RDX 2021. First the rooftop was misaligned, the motor had error codes due to required updates, which led to lost of acceleration and some times, accelaration without touch the pedal, and finally, failure of the solenoids which led to the continuous loss of the AWD.. and all of this under 80,000km of usage. Never had a vehicule with so many deficiences and lack of quality. Ohh and to add to this, they tighten the galiper bolt so much that I had to go to the garage just to loosen them so I can replace the brakes.... shitty built! I would not recommend buying an Acura.

Great car

Acura Intrlegra A spec manual is the perfect daily If you like a tinge of excitement with a practical car, the slick shifting six speed manual rows through the gated like butter. There’s just enough power to have fun and not get you in trouble. Seats are very comfortable. Sound system is perfect. The car looks great and is affordable. I highly recommend this car Totally worth it never selling it.

Make sure your car comes with a spare tire

I purchased a 2021 RDX from Vandergriff Acura in Arlington, TX without knowing it did not come with a spare tire. On 8/9/25 - three DAYS after Acura Care expired - I had to have the car towed to the dealership for a tire replacement. This is the 4th Acura I have purchased, and the third from this dealership. Apparently customer loyalty is unappreciated, because they are refusing to refund my towing fee.

Avoid Leasing or Purchasing an…

Avoid Leasing or Purchasing an Acura—Especially the Acura ZDXI strongly advise against leasing or purchasing an Acura vehicle, particularly the Acura ZDX. I leased my ZDX in October, and in December, I was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Since then, my car has been sitting in a body shop with no clear timeline for repair, as both Acura and Honda have been unable to provide the necessary parts. It is absolutely unacceptable that their parts are so severely backordered, and neither company can offer any solution other than placing me on a never-ending waiting list. Instead of taking responsibility, they continuously pass customers back and forth with no real assistance. There are no managers available to speak with, and customer service is abysmal—relying on generic, scripted responses rather than genuinely addressing the issue.Meanwhile, I am still required to pay my lease payments, in addition to covering the cost of a rental car, with no financial assistance from Acura or Honda. They refuse to pause my lease or provide a loaner vehicle—despite the fact that this entire issue stems from their inability to supply the necessary parts. To make matters worse, my dealership has been equally unhelpful. Rallye Acura in Long Island initially promised assistance only after I left a few negative reviews, but after a single phone call, they completely stopped responding. If you are considering an Acura, think twice. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and failure to support their customers make them a brand to avoid at all costs. And if you’re in the Long Island, NY area—stay far away from Rallye Acura.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service, called to try to work out payment agreement as I was getting behind on my lease due to personal issues. They wouldnt work with me, so I said fine repo it cause I could no longer afford the payments.(I worked for Acura for 6 years always had a car through them, they sold the dealership to someone who got there own people and fired everyone, so I had to start making payments with out the lease allowance) so the screwed me and myFamily. Anyways took them 3 months to take the car. I didnt receive any phone calls except for one from a very scetchy person left a message you must call me immediately or else then they went even further and stalked me online to find out who my best friend was and called them to find out if they could find me and told my best friend that I had a warrant out for my arrest and then questioned if I was still living with my girlfriend whos now my wifeLike how did they know that looking up personal information thats none of their damn business. When I called back this sketchy person, she was a complete *** and continued to be sketchy and said we cannot find your vehicle.Where is it or I will send a police officer to come and arrest you please lady I know every cop in this town and they know me on good notes. She said that they would come out the next day to come get the car and they have yet to do it.Completely sketchy service sketchy people dont bother. Car is not worth it.

Terrible customer service by dealerships and by corporate.

Buyers beware - even if you like one of their vehicles, know that their customer service at dealerships and at corporate are constant tones of belittling and pushing blame and not willing to help. They've had multiple recalls on my car and dealership only contacted me to come in for an engine recall after a half year of the engine recall date. Coincidentally, only after my warranty was expired. They lied for months about when my car would be done, and it ended up being held up for 4-5 months. From there, multiple issues arised and more damages on my car, which all happened under their engine recall service (obviously, as I suddenly had issues as soon as I picked up my car and damages). I refused pick up multiple times due to their poor work. They referred me to corporate and after weeks of no contact they denied any need for them to help or do anything, that costs would be my own fix (when in reality, it was under their scope of engine recall and their liability). They have automated emails to sound sincere, but in reality, will not reach back and answer any phone calls. Complete waste of time and extremely rude customer service. I'm baffled that customer service all around had gone downhill as soon as my warranty expired. Unless you simply love the vehicle and do not care for the mishaps later on, go ahead. However, after having multiple vehicles at Acura, I can comfortably say I will never purchase an Acura vehicle again (let alone all their recalls anyway).

So I purchased an Acura MDX in June of 24 a hit n run accident damaged the car and windshield . I have been without this vehicle due to supply chain issues with Acura it’s now October and I still don’t have my car. They never offered a loaner or to help pay your note anything to help you since it’s not your fault about the supply chain. I regret purchasing this car and I’m still having to get rides, still pay the note and insurance. The model is a 2022 .. good luck to you if you damage your windshield. They have no answer for you other than keep giving you false ETA’s then that date come and it’s set back again . The least they could do is offer a loaner to me. SMH .. regrets!
