I love Adagio Teas so much! I don't buy tea anywhere else because Adagio Teas just really know what they're doing! I love that they update their teas and products if every single person isn't happy. I mean, I couldn't ask for a better online shop to buy tea from. I love it!
This tea seller is about on par with a company like Harney & Sons. Hit and miss, but a lot of decent offerings. Some of the more fancier, single-origin stuff can be found elsewhere for cheaper, but some are reasonably priced. Their custom blends program is interesting, and they have quite a robust social system, which is also integrated into their CommuniTea monthly "tea club."One issue I have with them, however, is their portioning--often portion sizes will be something like 3oz then the only other option is 1lb. An option in between would be preferable without having to order multiple smaller amounts. Especially since they package in bags and not tins, it should not be an issue.
My go-to tea experience! I could go on about how much I love them for ages.Naturally, I'll start with the tea itself. In terms of quality, it really shows—when you first open the package, you're greeted by the deliciously potent smell of fresh leaves and vibrant flavors. If you've ever been disappointed by leaves that smell great but end up tasting dull, fear not. Adagio's blends don't skimp on flavor. Which brings me to my next point: Adagio doesn't skimp on anything.I've ordered seven different samplers, and each time, the containers were packed to the brim with leaves. Though they advertise around 5 cups from a sampler, I've been able to get many more brews, around 10 from most blends and upwards of that for the stronger ones. Additionally, they like to add little surprises into your orders. The first time I got a sampler set they gave me a few packs of rock sugar, and more recently, they gave me a pack of white peach tea that I'm super excited to try.Another thing I love about Adagio is just how creative they let you get. In addition to having a wide variety of fandom teas (my favorite that I've tried is SkyWing Pu-erh by the way), Adagio lets you come up with your own custom blends, which is not only a load of fun but also a great way to figure out what kinds of things you like and don't like in a tea. Honestly, Adagio's value is so good it feels criminal. It's only about $6 for a sampler, and keeping in mind that said samplers often give more tea than they say, it's a great deal for how high quality the leaves are. Additionally, they have a rating system for their teas that flaunts impressive honesty (if you don't believe me, I really recommend checking it out for yourself) so you'll always have an idea of what you're getting into when you purchase their tea.All of those things considered, there's a lot of little things that stick out about ordering from Adagio. The packaging is adorable and fits right into your cupboard/tea cabinet, my teas frequently arrive early and haven't been late once, they are transparent about ingredients (important to me because of my food allergies), and the website is easy to navigate. Overall, shopping from Adagio is an amazing experience that you won't regret.TL;DRHigh quality, great value, creative platform
I love this tea especially matcha powder. The only complaint I have is that it takes so long for shipping. It takes well over a week which I think could be improved upon. Also, I did not receive an email confirmation from Adagio and I had to contact them to make sure my order had been processed.
The tea is of excellent quality and reasonably priced. They have endless options and samples/starter packs available. They really cater to the customers through reviews. It's a nice touch and shows that their customers are heard and appreciated. They also give tips and information on brewing. This is especially a great place for people such as myself who are amateur.
I had the same HORRIBLE customer service as an earlier person. Ordered 42$ worth of tea, I'm a repeat customer since maybe 8 - 10 years. Brought tea 2 weeks prior no issues, Package did not arrive this time, asked for a refund or replacement was told NO till they deem it fit by investigation. I don't care what a shipper says delivered. I'm home I don't leave my house, if the shipper doesn't ask for a signature or ring my bell how can I sign for it. They refuse to do anything and are holding my $42 hostage, This is what is on their website facebook, yea sure, more support, how about NO support and not helpful you take my 42$ and I can't buy anything else now because you have my 42$ and I have to wait till you see fit to refund or replace, and I have no other address. horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update From Adagio TeasDue to challenges caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), we're providing our customers with extra support and resources.
