I purchased a Business Lifetime plan from Adilo in 2021, fully paid upfront (€354.55), clearly advertised and invoiced as lifetime — no renewal, no subscription, no recurring fees.

In February 2026, Adilo unilaterally suspended my account unless I agreed to migrate to a paid subscription.

Their justification is that the lifetime model is now “unsustainable” due to infrastructure costs. While that may be a business challenge, it is not a valid excuse to retroactively break a paid agreement.

What makes this worse is how it was handled:

No meaningful alternatives.

No proportional compensation.

No acknowledgment of ethical responsibility.

Just repeated copy-paste references to Terms of Service claiming absolute discretion.

The platform still displays my plan as “Business Lifetime – €354.55 / lifetime”, yet the service is suspended. That contradiction says everything.

This is not about technology or costs.
It’s about trust.

Early customers who supported the platform with upfront payments were simply discarded once they became inconvenient. A “lifetime” that only lasts until the business model changes is not a lifetime — it’s misleading at best.

I chose not to pursue legal action because the amount is not worth the time and stress. But future customers deserve to know how Adilo treats users when commitments become inconvenient.

Proceed with caution.

This is a disgrace. I dropped over $300 on a service that promised to be 'lifetime,' yet they don't even deliver the bare minimum.

You wanted reviews? Now you’re going to get reviews.

From now on, AppSumo needs to clarify: 'Lifetime access... as long as the vendor feels like it.' Adilo is fully responsible, sure, but I paid AppSumo—and just like me, so did hundreds or thousands of other people.

I wish you the best personally, because professionally, you have a lot of room for improvement. I no longer trust any product you sell.

Terrible experience with this service.

Extremely disappointed. They terminated the lifetime agreement after I had already paid $550. Prior to that, the support was incredibly slow, unhelpful, and seemed disinterested. They just take your money without any concern for customers. Avoid this; it feels like a scam. Do not invest any money here.

They fail to fulfill their commitments, and even though there is a chat support representative, they lack the authority to resolve issues. I've waited over 10 hours on multiple occasions, only to receive vague responses. It’s not dependable.

Extremely frustrating experience with this company

This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. They seem to prioritize scamming users rather than addressing issues. Requests go unanswered, and they quickly move on to new projects, neglecting their previous customers. I initially purchased a plan during their launch promotion, but after they promoted it elsewhere, my plan was suspended along with others. It’s evident they failed in their budgeting and planning, choosing quick financial gains over customer care.

Frequent access issues...

Every few months I encounter difficulties accessing the content. It takes several days, sometimes even up to 10, to resolve these issues each time. Customer service and tech support are slow, and the same problems keep resurfacing.

Deceptive practices - Just a money grab...

One of the most disappointing companies out there... they will deceive you like never before. Problems remain unresolved, requests are ignored, and they shift to new projects, leaving past customers behind. I had two different plans before any promotional deals... I purchased a plan directly during their initial launch via a social media promotion. However, soon after a promotion on another platform, my plan was suspended. Clearly, they didn’t manage their finances properly. They seem to prioritize making money over serving their customers.

Subpar technical support and terrible customer experience

An absolutely dreadful company with no integrity. Often, the videos I upload fail to render, and I am told to re-upload. Additionally, their service frequently goes down without notice. I’ve been trying to resolve an issue for over three weeks, as they compromised the security on their services, leaving all my course videos inaccessible. They made numerous promises but then stopped responding. It becomes clear why their initial prices were so appealing once you start using their service.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing. After several years with them, when issues arise, responses come days later, even in chat. They promise to get back to me but never do. Now, even when I reach out through chat, they don’t bother replying. Their embed code is broken on some of my videos, making my website appear very unprofessional.
