I recently purchased a premium brand Technics over the ear headphones, the issue I had was loosing connection when using the headphone / apple music, which is very disappointing. Also there seem to be a mechanical malfunction of one side ear piece with movement little stiff, over short period of time the same ear piece snapped.. I was disappointed but optimistic that the Technics brand would look after their customers but yet again disappointed, technical staff not very helpful and showed me the door??? This has impacted my trust in such a big brand company and I would never return / buy any of their products again. Potential Buyers be careful, Technics customer service / after care is rubbish, do not expect any help.
What's happened to this once great brand. I loved my technics hifi & headphones back in the 90's so thought I'd try them again. My headphones although sounded great, the material on the outside started peeling off just 1yr into use, I'd have them on and end up covered in flakes of it. In the end I had to put these expensive great sounding headphones in the bin. Sadly Technics seemed to have declined badly. My old HiFi and headphones from over 20yrs ago lasted years.
Su-r1000 is the best invention from Technics ever!But why is it that you then can´t hear a proper demo of it in any countries demo store? (my own home can give a demo that is 10x better than what I heard at any show or store where they sold it)A total joke.And they can´t tell me when I can buy the mk2 version, which also is annoying.But yeah I like the product a lot, so I can´t really complain, or can I?
I bought a pair of Technics EAH-AZ60E-K earbuds in the summer of 2023. In less than 4 months, the left earbud faulted. I first contacted Technics UK & Ireland Support on 14th November 2023. They got back to me the following day asking for additional information. I then provided what they requested and have not had a response to this yet. I have followed this up multiple times. The only response I have had was another customer support adviser stating they had not received the information requested? Which had already been sent on 17.11.23. I then had to resubmit the information requested. This was on 12th December 2023. Today is almost a month since and I am still being completely ignored by Technics. I am a regular user of Technics products and have been for over 30 years. This level of customer service is absolutely disgraceful and not one that I would expect from such a reputable brand!!
I contacted Technics customer support services over 3 months ago for advice on how to link 2 Ottawa C50 speakers together to provide a stereo sound. I still have not received a reply! After an initial unhelpful telephone call, I received an E-mail from Technics asking where I had read that this action was possible. I sent a copy of the relevant page of the Ottawa speaker user manual which clearly states that this action is possible ( but, unhelpfully, doesn’t detail how to actually do it). It’s unbelievable that the “expert” customer support advisor didn’t know this information and had to be given it by a customer!!!!My reply clearly floored Technics, hence no reply. The speakers are excellent, but Technics “customer support services” is clearly none existent. I would have awarded it 5 minus stars if that had been possible.Come on, Technics, play the game. You must try harder- or disband your “customer support services” completely. If ever a department of a company was wrongly named, it has to be Technics customer support services.Update - February 2024.Six months have elapsed since I submitted my negative review. Still no contact from the Technics “customer support services”.Perhaps Technics has followed my suggestion and disbanded its “customer support services”, as it clearly served no useful purpose.Appalling, Technics.Further update 5th April 2025.Still no reply from Technics. Perhaps their “customer support services” has been disbanded. After all, it served no useful purpose.
I ordered the new az80s and it been a week already since I ordered them and they still haven't shipped I been trying to contact their customer service and they been completely ignoring my emails then I accidentally ordered another pair that I want to cancel but it hasn't been canceled so I don't know what is going on with technics but I'm getting really fed up with them terrible customer service
