We arranged a visit with Aerial Force to explore our options for a very simple home security system. The agent who came was very helpful and said we did not need a sophisticated system and recommended a RING doorbell and a separate camera. We ordered these from Amazon and a different engineer came and fitted them. The engineer set the system up and gave us some basic training. Unfortunately neither the doorbell or camera ever worked as described and despite checking all the settings we became convinced that the equipment was not as good as RING claimed. We contacted Aerial Force and asked for help. We did get one phone call but that did not help much and a promise that they would ring back. They never did. After a frustrating few days we sent the RING doorbell and camera back to the supplier.

Unethical Practices and Poor Support

This service took advantage of my elderly grandmother. She was informed the fee would be £80, but they charged £600 instead. When we reached out for assistance, their response was unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. They denied the agreement, avoided accountability, and showed no genuine intention to rectify their error. Overcharging vulnerable customers and treating families in this manner is unacceptable. This experience feels dishonest and unethical, and I would strongly recommend others to steer clear of this service.

Disappointed with Pricing Transparency

I am pleased with the final outcome. However, I was quite dissatisfied with the pricing transparency. I was initially quoted £120 to mount my 50-inch TV over the phone, which I found acceptable. When the technician arrived, he informed me that my purchased bracket was unsuitable for a stud wall and that he would need to use one of his. He then revised the price to £179, which I reluctantly accepted to get the job done. After completing the work, he added VAT to the quoted £179, which had not been mentioned before. This lack of clarity is disappointing. In consumer sales, it seems fair to provide VAT-inclusive pricing. I felt taken advantage of – approximately £215 for around 30 minutes of work.

Installation Issues with the Doorbell

I had the same technician come to install my doorbell. The first attempt was complicated by the fuse box, preventing completion. After receiving a new device with a plug, the technician claimed he couldn't install that one either. I'm quite dissatisfied with the service.

No shows - TWICE. Don't waste your time

I waited all day for a confirmed time slot, but they never showed up. They called to apologize at the end of the 5-hour window and asked to reschedule, which we did. The same thing happened again the second time. Two days wasted – I should have read the reviews before booking; clearly, I'm not the only one. AVOID THIS SERVICE.

Appointment Cancellation

I had an appointment set for December 4th. I received a call at 3:30 PM saying there was no engineer in the area that day. They called the day before to confirm if we would be home since they had an engineer available then. Why schedule an appointment if it isn't confirmed?

Time Wasters

They were supposed to visit last Thursday; I received a call after lunch saying the engineer was sick. I understand these things happen, but when I rebooked for today (Monday), the same situation occurred, right down to the timing of the call. I will choose another service, thanks.
