THEY LACK HONESTY TOWARDS THEIR CLIENTS! I rented a 30-yard dumpster without realizing that I was engaging with an online intermediary rather than a legitimate rental company. They do not own the dumpsters, manage transportation, or accept responsibility. Their business strategy seems dubious: they subcontract a local transport service, inflate prices after the dumpster is picked up, and aim to profit from hidden fees post-collection. The dumpster I rented was reported to exceed 10,640 pounds of extra weight, despite my initial contract for 3,000 pounds, for which I prepaid $449. Shockingly, twenty-two days after the pickup, I received an email with a new invoice reflecting a total of 13,640 pounds of debris, supposedly according to them. This weight was attributed to a simple renovation involving drywall and some wood. The claim that 13,640 pounds (over 6.5 tons) came from my minor renovation is absurd. I renovated, not demolished! Yet, they expect customers to accept these outrageous weight claims without question. When I requested proof, they provided a poorly constructed receipt with minimal details, but it had an evident flaw: the disposal date was the day after the dumpster was collected from my location. The receipt indicated disposal on November 18, 2025, while the collection was on November 17, 2025. Essentially, the disposal occurred more than 24 hours post-collection. I caught them in this inconsistency, yet they had the audacity to assert via email that this is their standard procedure—taking dumpsters to their yard and disposing of debris the following day! Seriously? This is their rationale for exorbitant charges, coupled with relentless calls and emails demanding payment. They now claim I owe an additional $1170 on top of the initial $449 – that was my situation.
The reported weight defies logic based on what was actually in the dumpster. I am convinced that the dumpster disposed of the next day was not the one from my home. Since then, I've spoken to others who have had similarly alarming experiences with this service, marked by low introductory prices followed by dubious and hidden fees, along with evasive and aggressive customer service. This appears to be a recurring issue. I am now exploring legal options with my attorney, and I recommend this: I managed to limit my loss to the initial fair price of $449 for 3,000 pounds because I used a disposable virtual card for the payment. This strategy protects me from companies with questionable practices. Consider this a warning to others. In summary: this service relies on many customers not questioning hidden, abusive charges that surface later, as many do not even review their statements. By the time they notice, funds have already been withdrawn, making refunds much harder with unscrupulous companies that perpetuate these practices. SO EXERCISE CAUTION WITH THIS SERVICE; IT IS UNRELIABLE AND UNTRUSTWORTHY! BEWARE!
