Review Time
After less than 10 hours of play, the controller already broke. Was allowed to return it for repair. After they received the controller, I received a message from him that the repair would take 30 working days. This while making a new controller only takes 21 working days. I asked for my money back so that I could buy a controller from a manufacturer that does offer customer service. Since then I have not received any message from them. Please note the TMR sticks they use are the cheapest available on the market.
I bought this controller (PS5 controller with 4 back paddles) around August and it arrived in September. On arrival the controller was great and it felt like I got a controller worth the $200+ I spent on it, but after a couples of weeks the touchpads issues became glaring. You can remove the face of the touchpad on an aim controller and I don’t know if that’s the cause of the issue but since it’s arrival it occasionally started to act like I was holding a finger above it right in the center of the touchpad but over a couple of weeks it happened more and more often before it would always be stuck there, this issue was not physical it was something with the touchpad it wasn’t like it was physically stuck down it just registered like that. This doesn’t seem like much of an issue for games that I play most of the time like siege, rivals, or bf6 but it made it so I couldn’t message my fiends using the controllers keyboard because of the fact the touchpad was stuck on “H”. It also affected me when playing different games like GTA as there are touchpad features in the game making it so you can use it to select a new weapon in the weapon wheel but with the touchpad being stuck, I couldn’t change weapons at all. I eventually looked at some more reviews and found out other people have had the exact issue I had which is not good. So I filled out there forms, sent the controller back and thought that was going to be the end of it. After waiting a month my controller came back and it was fine for a couples days then I went to message someone and “H” was back, it went away again like last time but after a couple weeks of use it back to being almost always stuck. But this time it is physical, I guess I didn’t notice it when I got it but the controller was either repaired improperly or got messed up in shipping and the bottom left side of the touchpad is constantly stuck down and doesn’t make I click like the other side when I press it.
So while the controller was what I wanted and I’m actually happy with how it looks and the upgrade it is to my regular duelsense; it’s been disappointing to have to return a controller and get it back broken. On top of long wait times for repairs and returns, my controller was sent to Europe the first time and when it came back, even though I sent it within the 90 day window of receiving it to get it repaired with free delivery, I had to pay for it going through customs.
I will wait for the controller to be repaired this time and if it’s great I’ll probably change this review but if there are more issues then I will honestly just be wanting a refund and to have just bought a duelsense edge, same price, no tmr sticks or digital buttons, but at least that way I would have my controller and not be constantly dealing with issues and months of it being in repair or shipping.
I didn’t anticipate such a significant improvement, but this controller has transformed how my PS5 games play. It’s comfortable, sturdy, and remarkably dependable. Every button press is immediate, and the paddles greatly enhance movement and reactions. It feels tailored and high-quality in every aspect. I’ve encountered no issues, and it works flawlessly each time I play. Definitely one of the best gaming investments I’ve made.
The product is decent when it functions properly, but given its high price and customizable nature, the quality is disappointing and the customer support is lacking. I used one for several years and frequently had to replace the paddles since the originals were poorly made and broke often. I had to pay for each new set. Eventually, they upgraded to slightly more durable paddles, but the stick drift on my controller became so severe that I had to buy a new one. When my new controller arrived, it was defective; the L1 button didn’t work. I reached out to customer support, and they requested I send the entire controller back for inspection, which would take weeks, despite paying extra for expedited shipping. I opened the button myself and discovered that the part connecting the L1 button was broken, and instead of replacing it, they had used a cheap filler piece. I swapped it with the L1 button from my old controller, and it worked fine. Now, buttons are falling off my new controller, and the touchpad plate lasted less than a month. The R1 button is non-functional, and the switch for toggling the right trigger has completely come out. Caution to potential buyers: it works well when it does, but the build quality is inexcusable for such a pricey item.
If you don't know already, look up what Planned Obsolescence is. First, It took two months of contradicting emails and a $45 import fee (to be fair, they did reimburse. But the requirement of, in order to recieve an already purchased and over due product is ridiculous) because it was sent from the UK, before I got my controller. Within two months of use, a back paddle broke, the cap that holds the paddles in place broke, the magnets that hold the right faceplate seperated from it, the thumbsticks literally desentigrate as you use them (both sets are nubs now) and eventually start popping out as you use them, the rings around the thumbsticks chipped apart from use, it has to be hard reset every time I need to use the touchpad, and the supposedly "TMR" thumbsticks have stickdrift (both). The warranty is BS if you actually read it, 30 days for stick drift and you have to pay the shipping both ways if you use the warranty. And there's no guarantee they honor it anyway because they only do so if they determine that it's covered via testing to replicate the failure after you've sent it to them. And no, I did not abuse the controller, I don't rage and throw things or bang on stuff when I lose. I had a regular Duelsense 5 for almost three years before needing to replace it, and it was used when I bought it.
Within just six months of owning this controller, I’ve already experienced two separate issues—and now I’m being told I can’t have it repaired because I’m outside the three-month window, even though their own warranty terms say otherwise. According to the warranty, “Claims should be submitted within 30 days of detecting the defect” and shipping is covered by the company if the item is sent in within the first 90 days after delivery. To me, this clearly indicates that as long as I report the issue within 30 days of noticing it, the claim should be valid. What’s frustrating is that I followed these instructions, yet customer support refuses to honor the warranty, completely ignoring the written terms. A $200 controller should not have multiple problems in under a year, and when it does, the company should stand behind its product—not make the repair process as difficult as possible. The fact that they won’t even cover shipping after such a short time is incredibly disappointing.Overall, this has been one of the most frustrating warranty experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this product or the company based on how poorly they handle defects and customer support and the poorly build quality.

Because my email regarding the warranty was ignored, I had it repaired at a local store. Now the right stick also has stick drift. For the money, better to order elsewhere.
Out of 3 controllers. Mine, my fiances and my best friend. Every single one has has major issues. For the price paid the quality was lack luster but we gave them a chance. We were all extremely gentle with them and within a month a trigger broke on my fiances. He did send it in and after 3 months it was returned working but AIM somehow deemed it as pressure related before we had shipped it back to them. Only a couple months later the same trigger broke. My best friend had her trigger adjust slider literally just fall out of her controller and then got stick drift. My controller had the joystick housing completely break off. Bought a dual sense edge and will NEVER purchase from AIM again.
