I am heart broken and feel like a fool . I found out 5 days ago, that my son is DYING . I am in the uk. My son is in the USA .Usually I have a fairly sharp brain, but I think most people in my position, would have brain mush, being so upset . I decided to try this company, as I simply did not want to face sitting next to people on a long haul flight ,and I just wanted a company who would do the dog work for me and who could get me a good deal. My agent was Liam , seemed incredibly well informed.He sent me lots of different flights and itinerary to look at,He even sent different seats on different aircraft,making suggestions, what might be easier for me with privacy. I was so grateful,to him.I even gave him a paid tip of 100 in gratitude, because I thought he was saving me work and hassle,and that all I needed to do, was travel to the airport. Right after paying them .Just shy of £ 7000 yes pounds not dollars,which included insurance and tax to an airline . He contacted me and said,oh the payment is voided,because of, and can you pay again. I said no unless I see it in my account . As the night went by,I became increasingly uncomfortable.I just had a gut feeling. I rang my bank in the morning, hoping that their payment,was indeed refunded. No it wasn’t,there was no voided ,no nothing else. But there were 3 other attempts trying to take over 5000 each time from my account. Thankfully,while I was in bed,it was flagged by my bank,and they froze the card, not allowing the 3 other payments to them to go out . I left a message,he was contacting via WhatsApp.I said, there are no voided or refunded payments from you, I feel uncomfortable. I want to cancel . He got defensive, saying I could not do it . I said yes I can I paid you extortionate insurance,so I could cancel if needed . He tried several things, so I sent him a photo of the insurance schedule. Of which I never received any documentation. He kept saying I needed to watch my bank account , the monies would be there . He then said , well the tickets are paid for and can not be refunded. There is 7000 dollars on them outstanding, and the tickets would simply sit there until they expired. I said again,your company said , I could cancel any time questions not asked . He said constantly, keep checking your bank, I said,my bank said it might take until Tuesday. He said, well why not contact them Tuesday, and we can clear this up. I said, because it was planned for me to travel all day,Tuesday,to go across country , so I could fly the next day. I managed to get hold of the fraud department and they right away were concerned. I contacted the airline, yes, there was a kind of reservation in my name, but it was flagged . They said, confused,are you a gold star passenger. I said no. She contacted Alaskan airlines, talked to them . She was just chatting to me,then bam! My ticket disappeared! And was refunded ! To an outside party ( yet I had been told by Liam , they could not do that) Not only was the ticket refunded, it was found that the ticket was also connected to another person, and this company had robbed their air miles . Today , I have had no monies returned, from cancelling, what I have had though, is nearly £7000 pounds ( not dollars)out bank account , as it was to late for my bank to stop it going . I have no idea if I will see it again, that is down to the fraud department, I guess to try and sort, and I pray they can help me . I have had to scrape more monies together , in order to fly out to see my dying son . More monies paid out . I have had to do what I had hoped this sham of a company was doing for me, call different airlines to see who had the best deal for me . I am exhausted, now worried about money, because , shortly I will have to pay for a funeral. As his wife has no monies . I also found out the deals from this company are not deals at all. I could have paid direct to an airline 7000 and had my return tickets safely. The same exact pricing . I have had several WhatsApp today, saying , you will see , your money will be in your account. I so wish it would be . But alas I know I won’t see it from them . I also found out today, some scam companies pay people to go on trust pilot , to leave great reviews. This is so concerning , as I had read their reviews on trust pilot , and I thought they sound good, other than a few negative . Please I implore ! Do not contact or use this company. It fraud. They will steal your money . They stole from a grieving woman and did not care . I have so much stress ! The worst in my life. It is hard to bear, losing one’s child . Then to be robbed as well , well because of them ,I am barely able to function today . I am a very sedated lady who is mortified, this has happened.Please please stay away from this company IT IS NOW OCTOBER.THIS SCAM company in full FISH fashion have contacted me numerous times. Stating look we are honest, your money is in your account. calling, emailing texting , THEY STOLE £ 9000
I booked business tickets from JFK to CAI with an agent Derek Monti. However I found out that there are flights from EWR to CAI which is a lot easier for me to get into. Within a few hours of the booking, I asked to change to EWR, and even recommend to cancel then later rebook. The Agent decided to wait for later to exchange for me. However after I followed up multiple times, I was told its going to cost me $1000+ to make the exchange due to penalty. Please note the Airline allows for free cancellation within 24 hours for free. The poor decision the Agent made caused me the inconvenience that I have to live with.
