Customer service for lost baggage is non-existent. If you call, they refer you to their app. Baggage tracking disappered from the app 24 hours after landing. Delayed baggage supposed to be shipped by Fedex. Label printed. Baggage not delivered. Cannot call, email or chat with anyone. Buyer beware.
Air Canada has simply zero customer service. I could not reach an agent to rebook my flights and was on hold for 2 hrs!.In the end I made changes online. I have tried to email them for reimubursement but there have been no response. There are no contact details anywhere listed and they are simply saying to contact a call centre number that is never answered. I am out of pocket for over $1,000 and there is no response to date.
Flying business class - no choice of starter, only beef. What about vegetarians? Pre ordered main course (veggie) - they said they didn’t have the order ??? Cabin crew very rude !!!
Not a great overall experience. Will look at other options for the next flight to Canada
I need urgent help with my baggage claim CAS-10058419-L4M0B9. Payment was confirmed on Dec 9, 2025, but it’s been over 9 weeks and I've received nothing. My follow-up emails are being ignored. Could you please check the status?
I experienced a significant disruption on an Air Canada flight in December 2025 due to adverse weather. While I understand that safety comes first and that weather is outside an airline’s control, the disruption caused my three international connecting flights to be cancelled and rebooked, resulting in a delay of three days and causing substantial inconvenience and additional stress.
Customer service communication was polite, but no goodwill gesture was offered despite the length of the delay. I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility in handling such an extended disruption.
I hope Air Canada will consider more customer-centric goodwill practices for situations involving prolonged delays, even when they are caused by weather.
First, in transit from Toronto to RDU, Air Canada lost my bag. The baggage office was closed for the day at the airport because no one showed up to man it. The supervisor was busy, so had to wait for an hour to file a lost bag claim because my flights back from Asia were rebooked twice because of flight cancelations and I was blocked from doing online myself. After 2 hours at the airport, I was given a lost bag claim number (with no documents because there was "no way to print" at the ticket counter). The claim number was not valid. Waited on the phone on hold 2.5 hours, someone live finally spoke with me, said that she didn't know what to do, please hold for a few minutes. After 4 hours and 15 minutes, I hung up. No lost bag claim #, no service, no way to ever know what's going on with my luggage. I will never, ever fly AC and their partner carriers again. Oh, I paid for business class as well. What a massive slap in the face. I probably will never see my belongings again. UPDATE: the claim record was "unfindable" because the ticketing agent that set up the claim spelled my name wrong (even though she had my passport in hand to spell it). Cannot make this stuff up. This is NOT over by a longshot. Stay tuned.
This company is aweful booked a 640 flight which was cancelled do to weather even though th3 plane was half empty. Then was delayed 3 hours for the red eye same day. I have NEVER left on time with Air Canada.. Will never use them again.
Zero stars!!! I’ve been trying to contact them for days now, spend hours and hours and hours on hold, call back occurred only once at 1:30 am while I was sleeping. I booked a trip, then it showed duplicate, then cancelled completely. I tried booking again but need to confirm I am only booked for on trip, not three!!!! I cannot change or modify anything online, it’s been a terrible experience and I’ll definitely fly west jet next time🤬
This airline provided the worst experience I've ever had. My flight from one city to another was delayed by 5 hours, and I didn't receive any refund. The next leg of my journey faced delays as well. On my return, I encountered another delay of over 5 hours, without any food vouchers offered, which caused me to miss my connecting flight home. It's clear that they lack concern for their customers. I will not choose this airline again.
Missed flight The service does not inform travelers that even for a simple transfer through the country, a permit (ETA) is required. They allow the purchase of the permit even if you are not eligible to enter an airport. Additionally, there was no customer service available on January 6th in Italy (an EU country, not a third-world location). Despite offering flights, there was no support for customers. With over 35 years of experience in international travel, I have never felt as poorly treated as I did with this service. I have no expectation of any response or interest in resolving this issue. Attempting to communicate with unhelpful representatives only brings you down to their level.
