I've been using AlexHost hosting for a while now and am very pleased with their fast and helpful customer support. They often have interesting promotions, and the price will be very sweet! They ignore DMСA, which is also a big plus for me. Overall, i like it and i’m going to say that I'm a satisfied customer.
I am logging in today to speak up about a pretty dramatic experience we’ve been having with AlexHost over the past months.We got informed that my wife had nude pictures of her severely underage (dating from when she was 10-13 years old) posted on a website. We contacted the website owner that refused to delete them. We took legal action and the host they had at that point stopped supporting the website. For several weeks, that big forum containing these informations was offline and we went back to our normal lives.Sadly, we got notified soon after that the website was online again; now using Alex Host as their host. The forum admin took care to reupload all of those illegal underage media and told us there was nothing we could do cause their current host allowed child pornography to be posted.Of course we did not believe it, we contacted AlexHost that replied they would not do anything without a court order. We sent that court order serving the same website for the same pictures and they said they needed a new one.So we went back to legal action. Sadly the police is telling us they are not getting any reply either and that now there is « nothing to do » and we should just accept these images are now public.My wife has been in the hospital on and off since august, this is extremely rough on her especially as our daughters are currently around the same age she is on those pictures. It feels like there is no option that can work at all now, as this host seems very dedicated to keeping illegal content up. Along the way we did get close to people working with law enforcement with other countries via the bias of social media and we hope they will be able to do something about it.Know what you are supporting when you give them your money.
After one year of hosting with Alexhost our VPS was suspended on 07/22 and I was out of the office as it was the weekend. Today when I log in to pay and get it unsuspended the VPS was terminated. No help from support as they just told us that our data was deleted. Horrible experience.
I filed a lawsuit against AlexHost for ignoring DMCA requests; I am sure I will WIN this lawsuit because they pride themselves on conducting Illegal activities. They think they are untouchable but will soon find themselves scrambling for solutions after injunctions are entered against them. Customers, beware, you might be out of some money if essential services are blocked due to requests and court orders that they have yet even to know to exist. In response to alexhost answer. I have a judgment against the persons responsible for the website. The courts have decided the contents is illegal and violates my copyrights. The internet has global reach, it is not located in Moldova alone what is published on a site located in a basement in Moldova 🇲🇩 reaches everyone on the globe and can be translated at a push of a button. If you can’t respect a persons right to not be defamed and can’t respect a person’s intellectual rights you are invited to tell this to the Judge on July 11 at 9am in the USA and you can tell them what you responded to this post. If the judge dismisses the case against you you have proven your point of not pay me damages and remove the websites which you are hosting and this post will be deleted since the matter is resolved. If you lose and don’t respect the judgment be prepared to have SANCTIONS against Alexhost for non compliance. I know exactly how to make your business inoperable from the USA it’s your decision. If you want to be a global company in a global field or risk it all for 20 euro a month from one customer who is breaking the law as you are.
