A traveller has obtained my late mother's information from the company! Recently, the latest promotional material was sent to her address, despite her passing away eight years ago. The new residents at her former home forwarded it to me. I have requested the company for over a year to remove these outdated details, as it is extremely upsetting, but they continue to ignore my requests. The data protection regulations seem to hold no significance for them.
The travel arrangements were superb, making everything hassle-free. The accommodation was quite nice, and the rooftop infinity pool was a standout feature. The daily tours were engaging and well-chosen, though at times they felt a bit overwhelming, leading me to take a midweek break. The food was abundant and varied, but I ended up skipping several dinners due to the volume. Conversations often centered around shared experiences of loss, which I didn’t relate to. Overall, it was a well-organized tour, ideal for those navigating solitude after a loss. It felt a bit overly cautious for my liking and included more activities and meals than I personally required, but I’m glad I joined this trip.
As a first-time solo traveler, I felt a bit anxious, but there was no need. The guide was exceptional, and the entire process was clearly explained. I thoroughly enjoyed the week, with well-organized outings that allowed me to experience Venice in a unique way. The other women in the group were lovely, and the practice of changing seating arrangements at meals fostered a great sense of community.
