Alienrides is THE worst u.s. based pev dealer. Customer service is a joke always trying to get out of their responsibilities while simultaneously blaming the end user for their employees failures. They are now employing shading business practices to try to gain a monopoly of electric unicycle sales in the U.S. take your money literally anywhere else.
I Ordered This Item on August 26 : World's Smallest EVStation ChargingAdapter, J1772 to Nema 5-15 Plug. And I received an item on Wednesday September 3. When I opened the package the item it was wrapped with Air Bubble Wrap around nothing else. The package was ULINE. Immediately I noticed something was wrong because there were scratches around it also no Box manual instructions from manufacturer. Also it smelled like a burning plastic immediately I knew it that it was used before and I purchased for a New. On the same day I contacted them explaining to them sending to them also a 4-5 screenshots of the item they told me someone will reach you within 24-48 Hours. Even after almost one week nobody reached to me. When i went to their website to print the Label for the return there was a question: Is the item in their original box packaging !!! And I replied of course not because it was sending to me inside the ULINE small package Wrapped with Air Bubble Wrap. And it says your Item I can’t be returned because you don’t have the original box package !!! So how on this World you send the items to the Costumers Wrapped just with Air Bubble Wrap and if something wrong you gone request them to bring it back in the original box package. Hopefully they gone send the Label for the Return. Very Very Disappointed.

I pre-ordered for a total of 3700$. received an automated confirmation of order. after more than month of waiting with zero correspondence or follow up, I emailed for an update. I received no response from Friday to Monday night. I decided to call and ask why they wouldn't answer emails for such a large purchase. they kept interrupting me asking for an order number. I got mad and hung up, Never gave them my order number. They used my phone number to look up the order, And then reported it as fraud on Shopify so it auto-refunded. I never asked for a refund, I wanted them to do their job That I paid for. don't spend your hard earned money with a company that doesn't do anything to earn or retain your patronage. Alien rides held $3700 for over a month. They owe me the interest on that money.
Kevin was knowledgeable and friendly. He took time to answer my annoying question at 7 a.m.! Like who does that! The whole thing was streamlined and he even attempted to have it delivered same day to my house over 300 miles away. Patience isnt my greatest virtue so i drove from redding to pick it up and in the process brought my eride pro 3.0 ss for diagnostics 4 hours past our agreed time and he still made time for me! He didnt try to push any sales on me, the oppisite actually. He said "hey, if its not in the budget a deposit is ok and itll be ready when you are."I did find some minor paint stuff on my scooter but Kevin didn't hesitate to issue a substantial partial refund refund my way for not catching it first. Over all i had an awesome experience and. I didnt get to talk much with the other guys but the all seem chill and ready to help but if you want it done right the first time I think Kevin is your guy . Don't listen to the haters...
Horrible! The absolute worst! I placed order on March 10 and have not received they said waiting for fulfillment which is absolutely ridiculous considering I got call confirming order. ZERO. communication of any kind. I reached out and received a response that doesn't even make sense. It's been two months and needless to say I am very pissed.
BUYER/RIDER BEWARE: Consider another honest service shop or replace your device. I am convinced they have a get the suckers for at least $200 internal policy. Biggest rip-off ever and the poor customer service is just the cherry on top. I walked away feeling insulted and robbed. I brought my scooter in for repair. I needed the fender and rear tire replaced. They advised it would be $225 ($125 + 100) for labor only as I brought the parts in. I told them that a new scooter would run me about $500. There was a small squeaky noise coming from the back tire as well - I said if this is something that needs repairs please call me before doing work, with your prices I might as well get the new scooter if fixing the sound would cost me more. The guy said no problem we will call or text you if anything is discovered before repair. I received a call the same day that it was fixed.After riding it 0.5 miles or less there was a newer unbearable sound. I emailed them a video less than an hour after leaving there. The first thing they said was it wasn't us. With a little pushback and a reminder of the convo I had with them at drop-off, they advised me to bring it back. Low and behold they admitted their technician did not place something correctly. Again I left and less than 0.5 miles later the sound is back. I was advised to bring it back as and told no worries they would get it resolved since the new sound was not happening when I dropped it off the first time. It seemed to be a bent rotor.Well, it looks like that was a lie. After 3 incorrect fix guesses on what problems they could have caused with my scooter the new sound is here worse than ever and it just doesn't work the same. I was told I would need to pay another $100 for a part and $150 for the labor repair on a motor/bearing. Save yourself the trouble and listen to the bad reviewers. Most of their good reviews probably come from fleets and solicited reviews. My experience was so on point with bad reviews, I mostly blame myself. I've attached some emails and text proof. I am sooooo disappointed and all cried out about this highway robbery.I'm sure they will have a rude response to this. I recently had the opportunity to work with Alien Rides for a battery replacement under warranty on my Electric Unicycle (EUC). It’s important to note that Alien Rides did not sell me this EUC; I brought it in for service as they do not carry my model. While the process was fraught with delays and complications, I believe the true measure of a company’s integrity is how they handle situations when things go wrong.In this case, there were multiple factors contributing to the delays, and I acknowledge that I share some of the blame. This review isn’t about pointing fingers, but rather about highlighting how Alien Rides managed the situation.Over the years, I’ve had several interactions with Alien Rides, and not all of them have been perfect. However, each experience has been handled with professionalism, thoroughness, and appropriateness. Alien Rides consistently gets the job done, even when faced with challenges.In this latest repair, Alien Rides performed superbly. Despite the complications, they provided the service I needed with exceptional skill and dedication. Their commitment to resolving the problem and ensuring customer satisfaction has earned my respect and appreciation. I have been a returning customer for four years, and I wholeheartedly endorse their products and services.If it matters, I've received great support from Raub, all the Kevins, and a few others.
