Review Time
I have now been able to speak to customer services who have refunded my payment. Thank you. My original review was that I have been contacting CPR via telephone and chat bot and been promised a return call but no one was returning my call. Leading to the yearly payment being taken.

I bought the Guardian 3 watch for my mother-in-law. I had some initial set up issues due to trying to use my own SIM card. Despite this the help and support I received was exceptional, and the whole team went above and beyond to help me resolve the issues. Eventually, I had to abandon my own SIM as that was the problem (confirmed by the SIM provider!) but the support team were still very happy to help me get the watch up and running with another SIM. A special shout out to Chelsea, who was super helpful and very patient with me - thank you so much for all your time and commitment! It's so refreshing to receive technical support from someone who genuinely cares about the customer.
The CPR guardian is brilliant, worn like a watch, well it does give you the time, so it isn't intrusive and people dont realise you are wearing an alarm system. It detects when you have fallen and immediately calls your contacts and keeps going till someone answers. It is great for the wearers safety while being discreet. It many features keep your loved ones safe even outside the house The customer service is absolutely brilliant nothing is to much trouble and queries are answered straight away. This product is perfect for safety, customer service is above and beyond
Terrible experience and customer service. Would not recommend.Got a Guardian 3 for my mother and after 5 months it stopped working. It took 6 months for them to finally send a Guardian 4 replacement. The Guardian 4 uses an old 2G network and could never locate my mother.Customer service is so slow, it takes about a month for them to respond.
The Guardian watch was a key factor in my father being able to remain in his own home for the last 3 years up to his recent passing. The Guardian technical support was excellent in setting the watch up in the first place - knowledgeble and patient & friendly - and then we had no issues with the watch the whole time we had it.
Dreadful service, please avoid this company.I contacted them 18th December with an issue as it was not working, received a response to say I would hear something within 24 hours.3 days and I've heard nothing, and still chasing them.Totally unreliable.
This was bought for my mother. We paid for the top level of monitoring but found from doing test calls that response time is very slow, and unreliable. The app has out of date contact details for the company help line; which is not helpful in an emergency. The help line is often unmanned. The watch alarm goes off randomly. It has become a source of anxiety rather than comfort and we shall be cancelling it. Which is disappointing given the up front cost of the watch being relatively high.
New Update 3: Now in positive communications with CPR Team. The original watch has been replaced without issue and appears to be working better and more reliably than the original. GPS updates are proving a challenge, however the team are trying to resolve the issues.Despite the issues I have stuck with this, on paper this watch is perfect for our needs. Im feeling more confident with the customer service I am now getting and hoping teething problems can be resolved. *SOS button activated yesterday and worked as expected alerting us by phone and text. New Update 2: Discovered new troubles with system last week. Fall detection triggered without cause early in the week but when Dad had a very heavy fall last Thursday, sustaining a nasty head injury, we are not sure how long he was on the floor before neighbour discovered him. This is worrying and disappointing. Something was happening with the app as the sensitivity setting disappeared for a few days? it's back but it will not save an amendment to setting? Last weekend the app was not working at all, no new location for 3 days (althought it's always very intermittent) steps, pulse etc not updating. Things seemed to come back gradually on Monday. I guess the server was down or being worked on? These products are being sold as potential lifesavers, any outages should be communicated with users. The only positive is that the calls do seem to have some reliability so I can call him on it if he doesn't answer his phone. That takes me to customer service/support, basically there isn't any! It's over a week since I tried calling, there's just a recording which directs you to an online request form. I completed another one (4th), auto reply advised 24hr response. I've heard nothing. From my multiple request forms and email, I have had just one callback, coincidentally soon after posting a negative review here. We are paying a significant amount for something that does not work, there is no support. Update: help desk called, now up on working on Android, very helpful once contact made. I selected this watch for my father as it stated it was compatible with Apple and Android. I have however not been able to download a working app for my android, the Prp plus is not on Google store and the link given by CPRs own bot is defunct. This has led to delay in getting up and running and now relying on my young niece to set up and monitor from her I-phone, not ideal. I have tried ringing the 0800 number of instructions, that is no longer working and directs you to another number which in turn directs you the service request form on the website. I have completed several of these over the last few weeks, each time getting an auto response from Chelsea saying I would be contacted in next 24hrs - nothing further! The watch itself seems OK, not fully trsted functions yet, but do need that Android app urgently!Zero stars for customer service.
