Amanda and Oliver Jewellry is CRAP. The website is made out to be legit even trading hours and all but its FAKE. I ordered some rings and they took 3 weeks to arrive. The quality was so poor and they dont offer refunds. Im so disappointed I was sucked in! I should have read reviews first.
I bought two pairs of earrings months ago, and they were closing down then. They are still advertising closing down sale. What a joke!
The earrings were not nice at all, and even at a discounted price, they are overpriced. Please beware not to fall for the scam.
BEWARE !!!!! Do not get scammed like I did! I only wish I had read the reviews on this dodgy company. Looks great the jewellery on the website but it's all fake. The crap they send you is nothing like the quality jewellery they claim to make. I wouldn't wear anything they sent me. It looks like kids jewellery from a $2 shop. I can't believe this company can continue to scam people after all these reviews. They need to be shut down and fined severely.
If I could rate the service with zero stars, I would. The information on the business page is completely misleading, and they do not provide a 30-day money-back guarantee. I'm currently struggling to return the items, but every time I ask for a return address, I receive a response stating they won't cover return shipping. Instead, they offer a 50% refund if I keep the items. It's quite amusing, yet it's a frustrating ordeal that has led me to report all our exchanges as fraudulent to my bank.
I ordered three pairs of earrings after being drawn in by the 'handmade' narrative and appealing website images. Unfortunately, the products I received were far from what was promised. The earrings looked mass-produced, made from low-quality materials, with plastic or painted details instead of genuine stones. The designs, colors, sizes, and metal finishes did not align with the images on the website. Additionally, the shipping times were not as advertised, taking much longer and going through several processing points. When I reached out to the support team, I was only offered replacements or a partial refund, despite clearly stating that the items did not match the description. I was informed that full refunds weren't available due to it being a 'final closure sale' — which felt unjust given that this was a case of misrepresentation. I've also noticed that this 'closing down sale' seems to have been ongoing for quite some time, with many other customers sharing similar concerns: jewelry that lacks authenticity, poor quality, and challenges in getting appropriate refunds. Given my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
I received one broken item and another that was defective (the jewel was attached incorrectly, causing it to hang backwards compared to the other piece). Additionally, the quality of the jewellery was subpar and certainly not 'vintage' or made from the materials advertised (moonstone, sterling silver, gold plated). It clearly seemed to be sourced from a cheap mass-produced supplier, lacking any artisanal or handmade qualities. I reached out immediately for a refund, as the platform claims that defective or broken jewellery is eligible for a full refund with return costs covered. While the response was prompt, it was completely unsatisfactory—they proposed a 20% refund only if I paid for the return shipping. After several days of back-and-forth communication, they gradually increased the refund offer but continually ignored their stated policies. Eventually, I managed to secure a full refund, but this required an extensive email exchange and increasingly firm language on my part. I strongly advise against purchasing from this vendor. It's a complete scam.
I am really let down by the quality of this item. As soon as I opened the package and handled it carefully, the pearl came off right away. The product looks noticeably cheap, and the craftsmanship does not meet my expectations. This experience left me feeling unsatisfied and misled by the product's appearance.
I regret not looking at the reviews before making my purchase, which I usually do. The earrings I received were hardly better than cheap decorations. They seemed poorly mass-produced and lacking quality. After seeing the seller's insincere responses—offering discounts and then claiming no record of my order—I realized this is all nonsense. I discovered they operate multiple brands worldwide, misleading customers into thinking they are a traditional craft business on the verge of closing. I found numerous websites selling identical products under different names in just half an hour. This operation needs to be stopped globally. I can only imagine how much money they have taken from people, providing flimsy items in hopes we will accept less. I’m determined to pursue this matter with the appropriate authorities.
The items I received were not as they appeared on the website. When I reached out for clarification, I was asked if they could provide alternatives. I wanted to utilize the 30-day full refund policy, but was initially offered a 20% refund, then 30%, and now 60%. According to consumer law, I am entitled to a full refund and they should cover the shipping costs. My next step will be to contact the bank to initiate a chargeback. I advise against engaging with this misleading advertising.
