I placed an order online its been a month now no response from their customer service. The glasses haven't been delivered. Customer service not very helpful. Can someone please contact me
Very delayed order with vague customer service.
I ordered ski goggles from the website two weeks before my ski trip, with the delivery date specifically stating it would arrive before my departure. However, as the date arrived, I realized that the order may not make it on time, so I contacted customer service and asked, "Will my order make it in time, or unsure, let me know, so I can order another pair from another provider that can make it on time".
Amavista's answer was vague, and that they were trying to send it as soon as possible without specifying if it could make it or not. The result was that the package arrived 1 week after I got back from my ski trip, and I had to spend a much larger amount on ski goggles than I had planned.
Good products and prices, but not reliable if the order is expected to be delivered before an event or specific trip.
While there were no issues receiving the parcel in the UK, the return process is incredibly difficult. There is no automated system, so I had to purchase my own return label. Be aware that they also refuse to accept returns delivered by certain couriers, such as Hermes.
Although the company received my return, they did not issue a full refund, claiming that 'EU Import duties' had been deducted. I have seen many other reviews mentioning this exact pattern. There is no way to appeal this decision or clarify the costs. I strongly advise against buying goods from this company for shipment to the UK.
Disgusting Behavior from this company, complete false advertisement.
They advertise that the glasses will be recieved in a specific time frame which was critical for me, thats why I made the purchase on the website. Only for an email to be sent a couple of days later telling me it will be delayed, which seems to be their typical ploy to get people to order from them. I instantly asked for a Refund in which they started to waste time and finally told me I couldn't recieve one. I'm now going to the FCA and regulators in regards to this company. Avoid them at all costs.
The ordering process with Amevista was easy and the prices are reasonable. However, my order experienced delivery delays due to customs, and communication during this time could have been clearer. Additionally, the prescription glasses I received did not seem correct to me, although customer service stated that the prescription was fine. Overall, the experience was mixed. With better communication and clearer resolution of prescription concerns, it could be improved.
Do not purchase from here unless you want to wait 1+ month for your delivery. I paid for express delivery, expecting the item to arrive in 4-5 working days. Once I placed the order, the expected arrival date increased by one month. The item is still in ‘processing’ status after 2 weeks and I have contacted support and I have received no response. This is unacceptable service.

Im having hard time with this Webside. I ordered 2 sunglasses, I wanted to try them on and choose one and other send back. I payed for Express shipping but unffortunatelly sunglasses came late (not the date which was promissed). I left already country. So I had to manage return on my own expence. Im following the package but its say “unsuccessful attempt for delivery”. So shall I understand that Amevista dont want to accept back my return. Even I followed webside steps and payed return on my own expence? What a headache and uprofesional webside. If I text on Instagram its show Seen but nobody reply!!!
My order was meant to arrive today (29th) according to the email confirmation I received, but it's still stuck overseas, and the tracking indicates a delay. The estimated delivery is now mid-January. I reached out to customer service but have not received a response. I should have verified that the seller is based abroad, despite paying in local currency. Now I'm concerned about potential import duties and additional fees. I cannot recommend this service.
