Very very happy with DHL their systems, their procedures, and the driver who made my delivery.COMMUNICATION: I had several notifications from them to say when my delivery would arrive; and on the day these included a two hour window, which proved to be accurate. Moreover, in the 30 minutes or so before delivery was made I received updates to indicate that delivery was imminent.SAFE PLACE:I was able to designate a safe place for my delivery to be left.EXECUTION: my delivery arrived within the designated time window, was left in the safe place as requested.
Absolutely terrible service. A mystery ‘hold’ on my shipment caused the parcel to take 2 weeks to get from Glasgow to Londonderry. A complete lack of answers during the many phone calls made in order to try and get this parcel delivered prior to Christmas Day. DHL blamed the issue on a customs hold (Despite the fact that, when contacted, customs confirmed they had not in fact held the parcel at all). No answers, just being passed from pillar to post, with one department blaming the other at every turn. Absolutely shocking service which caused a Christmas present to arrive late and wasted a large amount of my own time in chasing it up via phone calls.
