If I could give minus stars I would, this is luckily my first time dealing with GLS. The rudest customer service I have ever come across, and easily the worst courier I have dealt with. I don’t know how they are still in business.Dealt with the same guy in Dublin twice now (wouldn’t give me his name as he knew he was being rude) but has a Nigerian/African accent if that helps management to identify who he is, after shouting at me he then hung up on me.Telling me three days in a row that my parcel is going to be delivered when it isn’t, I’d rather if they’d just tell me what day instead of dragging it out.

Rented a SUV in Pisa/Italy. At the AirPort. Great price! We turned down the offer to buy their own expensive insurance since I had already bought a cheap ”full insurance” from Rentalcars. They can’t see that, though. When I told them I already bought a full insurance from Rentalcars they told me ”No, no! Not full. It doesn’t cover windows, tires bla bla”. BUT Rentalcars cheap full insurance DOES cover that. My sister who traveled with us got a stone-shot on the windshield. Ok Mobility kept 180 Euro from the reserved deposit because of that, but my sister got e v e r y t h i n g back from Rentalcars insurance. The process went smooth and quickly. Easy. Sure, the deposit that OK Mobility reserve is higher if you don’t buy insurance directly from them. Like 1300 to 1600 Euro. All cheaper car-rentals are always grumpy and aggressive when you turn their own insurance down. They reserved a 1500 Euro deposit from our creditcard, but we got it all back after returning the car. It only took 2 days before we got the money back. No problems. The car was quite new and worked fine during our 9 days.
GLS is the go-to for delivery. I have companies in the US, France, and Malta, and I have been a decade-long business client of Federal Express and UPS and have used DHL for years. But in France, especially Amazon, which is a nightmare - there have been missed deliveries, date changes, no-shows, surprise show up, dropping off packages "at a location without delivering) show up when they want, and no communication. Not GLS, it is the go-to for parcel delivery in France, Europe, and the US. Fast and efficient, timely precise text communication. Damien (deliveries in the 61130) is thoughtful, and courteous (offering) to bring in a heavy package - a pleasant, nice guy who makes my life easier and better.
