Would rate zero stars if I could.
- ordered couch in early December 2025
-told two weeks later the fabric was on back order until end of January 2026
-had to call the company (wow they answered the phone) on Jan 30th and they confirmed that the fabric came in and the couch was in production
-immediately—-website down with no communication, phone number has me in spot #1 for 3 hrs (never reached a person, left number for call back, never received a call back), reached out via email and instagram and Facebook—-NOTHING. It’s like not a single soul works at this company.
-filed chargeback with my card company and will have the outcome in one weeks time
-what a waste of time, what a massive disappointment, what a disgrace of a company to not communicate with its customers about any type of closure or holdup

I waited over a month for my custom sofa and matching chair delivered via "white glove" delivery service. The items arrived damaged - sofa had a slash from a box cutter on the top of the armrest and the bottom of the chair was damaged from it being dragged on the ground. I've been attempting to get ahold of Apt 2B for going on 2 days now. No one answers their phones or responds to emails. I gave away my furniture in anticipation of this delivery so now my living room is empty.
Is APT2B in business? Is this a scam? Fraud?I purchased a sofa from APT2B for almost $1700 on Jan 23rd of this year. I received a confirmation email and an email asking me to confirm my shipping address on the same day. I received another email 3 days later stating that my sofa was in production. But almost immediately the website went down and is still under construction. They haven't replied to several emails I've sent and I recently spent over an hour on hold calling them before disconnecting, and despite the automation saying I was first in queue. I'm going to be following up with a bank dispute and pursuing legal action but am wondering what's going on because it doesn't look good. Sofa production is a fairly lengthy process so their quote of 2-4 weeks for production before shipping communication seems like a reasonable waiting period. Then a day or so ago I received 2 identical emails from 2 different people I don't know saying that the long email list included belonged to APT2B and they think it went bankrupt and closed its doors. What is going on?
I bought a sofa from Apt2B about six months ago, and I’m really frustrated with how quickly it’s gone downhill. The cushions are already collapsing, making it uncomfortable to sit on, and the fabric has started piling all over. It looks old and worn out even though it’s barely been used. For what I paid, I expected something durable and comfortable — but this sofa feels cheaper than it should. Honestly, I could have bought something from IKEA for the same price and gotten much better quality. I won’t be buying from Apt2B again. I can't return it because of the ridiculous restocking fee.
I paid almost 5k for this couch and it's not stain free and the back cushions lost shape. The couch isn't even 1 years old and I'm having to file a claim with it for the damage. I would upload photos but the website doesn't let you.
Be 100 % certain about your choice before ordering because you could buy a whole additional sofa with the fees they charge for return or exchange. I had a horrific experience with “customer service” attempting to bully and silence me about my concerns regarding excessive fees. First, they charge you the same fees whether you return or exchange. So I was going to exchange, but was so disturbed by the insane fee of $1800 they charged me that I had to turn to my credit card company to help me. When I did this, Apt. 2B immediately began attempting to bully and intimidate me by saying that unless I dropped the dispute with my credit card company they would not deliver the exchange sofa and then they would charge fees for that sofa as well, meaning I would be out thousands of dollars with no sofa to show for it. I then offered them a compromise saying I would pay half of the fee they were trying to charge, but not the full fee, and they ignored me, so I decided to just dispute everything with their company and not pursue the exchange sofa. When they realized I was doing that they told me they had sent me a response to my compromise email. Of course I had received no such response so I told them that and added that I was copying my credit card company on all of the communication. When caught in the lie, they responded with a lame, “oops, I forgot to press send on the email.” Then, after initially denying me the exchange sofa, they started trying to force it on me, and I got incessant calls from the warehouse trying to deliver it after I had told customer service I was canceling the order as I no longer wanted it because of the way things had happened. It goes on and on. The bottom line is that customer “service” is abysmal—they will take you for everything you have if you’re not happy with your sofa, so you are better off with the company that actually has supportive customer service in case something goes wrong.
What went wrong is that I never got the sofa I ordered. The company or reps that they had working on the issue presented no real solution. Didn't care because they viewed me as a one-time sofa customer. I placed an order and after waiting appropriate amount time suggested, and not hearing from them about delivery, I reached out. At that point the rep was like, well this sofa is not in production b/c we've had a problem with the factory that produced this sofa - not sure exactly when the problem will be fixed and solution that we can offer is select another sofa from our catalog and we'll even give you $100 dollar discount. Note - There was no sorry we did not reach out to you earlier with this issue. Instead of having me wait 8 weeks. At this point I told her the solution she presented did not work for me, so can I just get an update of how long would I have to wait to get sofa in production. I was then informed 1 month. At this point I was like well you already had me wait 8 wks. I don't want to go into websites again searching for sofa I like, so I'll wait. The website noted the sofa was in production so when I reached out again a month later to see when I could expect delivery. I was told sofa was not in production. No date could be provided. The website was incorrect and they apologized for the mix messaging. This time the offer they provided was select another sofa and get $300 dollars off from our other type of sofas. All of there other sofas were 900 dollars more b/c I made the purchase during a sale week. I just think you want to do business with a company who cares to inform you about issues and works with you to find a solution that works for you b/c they messed up. Don't accept money if you cannot produce a product. Don't provide solutions that are only based on your benefit. Not once did they asked what would be a good solution for you - how can we make this work - we value you as a customer.
