Lack of clear guidance at checkin, changed my seat that I had selected and paid for a reason. Fying from santo domingo to medellin, I should have used wingo. Never again on Arajet.
Their staff looked inside my luggage and stole my watches, broke my perfume and even put some stuff that dosent belong to me. I made a request and they message me after 3 weeks. All they had to say is that they’re nit responsible.
Unethical treatment of customers. They completely damaged my suitcase, ripping off the lock and destroying the lower zipper. They attempted to hide it by moving the zippers to underneath the suitcase. When the staff at the airport was asked, they stated we needed to fill out a claim online. No one offered any additional information so we left the airport to get to our hotel, I started filling out the clam on the drive and adding pictures as requested. They are now stating they are sorry for the damage and inconvenience HOWEVER because you did not receive a form at the airport, we will not be helping in any way. Absolutely DISCUSTED in this airline. I would pay more or drive further to avoid being treated in such a unethical manner.
The worst fu@kin
company known to man the are delayed won't let you check your bags some now you're just there hungry with no place to sit nightmare company I wouldn't refer anyone to them not even my enemy run when you see Arajet!!!!!!
I booked Arajet because the price looked good. That was my first mistake.
From the moment I checked in, everything felt messy and poorly managed. My flight was delayed with little to no clear communication, and trying to get answers from staff felt pointless. Everyone looked overwhelmed, and customer service was basically nonexistent when issues came up.
The “budget airline” excuse only goes so far. You’re charged extra for everything, so the cheap ticket quickly turns into an average-priced one — except with far worse service... The seats, comfort was minimal, and the overall experience felt rushed and careless.
I did get to my destination, but it wasn’t smooth, relaxing, or pleasant. It felt like the airline’s priority was cutting costs, not passengers. I wouldn’t fly Arajet again unless there were absolutely no better options
My flight from Santo domingo to San Juan went to the counter to get my boarding pass because they don't have don't have sell check in monitors on the counter they charge you extra for carrying in bags $70 👎
This is the worst airline. Hands down the worst ever. Worst flight even with a ultra low cost standards, worst ground staff, worst ever customer service, worst website, hidden fees, and list goes on. Never ever try to book this absolute scam of an airline. My flight was delayed by more than 4 hours and that entitled me of my 100% of the refund of close to 700 USD. Called their customer service over a period of 30 days, emailed them, tried every other possible way to get some info on refund and nothing. Eventually not sure how and what the process was, they decided to refund me 140, a mere 20% of the total amount. frustrating that such airlines exist. Never again ever.
Our family booked a flight and all of our return flight was cancelled 7/21, offered a new schedule 2 days after our initial departure. We have a tight itinerary and our transfers and hotel accommodation were already booked.
We understand slight changes can happen but this is plus 2 days from our return flight. We either take the new flight or get a refund. Airfares have increased by now and we are stuck with the option to accept and incur more charges or spend more than what we planned on no matter what option we choose due to the flight cancellation.
This airline may be budget-friendly, but even for a low-cost option, the experience was terrible. I can't list all the issues that occurred, but here are a few highlights. - They damaged my luggage, and there was no one at the airport to help file a claim. The lack of available personnel made it feel more like a scam than an oversight. - They avoided Venezuelan airspace and made unscheduled stops, despite having planes capable of longer flights. Although they notified us via email, no one at the check-in counter seemed to know about it or the new arrival times. - Each leg of the journey was delayed by hours. - There was no assistance at the hub airport for passengers with tight connections due to these delays. I could go on, but this is enough for now. People often say, 'you get what you pay for,' but in this case, it feels like 'you get less than what you pay for.'
My luggage was stolen, along with that of five other travelers on a flight from Canada to Medellin. Another traveler experienced damage to their suitcase, allowing items to be removed. The airline has not responded for a month and claims it only covers a limited amount. It's unacceptable that passengers are subjected to such robbery.
