Review Time
I ordered an ‘ICELANDIC WOOLLEN JUMPER’ two weeks later a small package arrived and it was along sleeved nylon tee shirt with a PRINT of a knit on it. It looked homemade with no labels and arrived in a zip kitchen freezer bag. The after sales is shocking and they encouraged me to keep the item and offered me 10% off my next order (which is laughable). Also, be aware that all returns go to china at your own expense and need to be there within 30 days. It took me 1 week to even get the return address from them as they tried to delay me, I assume this was to lessen the chance of my purchase reaching them in time. I’m not sure I’ll even get a refund!!
If I could give this company a zero star I would. (1)Their products are most definately not as described eg wool jumper trurns out to be a polysester material with a print pattern. (2)Although offering a return service, the return address is in China. Since the cost of return is the customers, the return cost makes returns prohibitive. (3) The level of refund is an insult given that they do not at any point on their website indicate international shipping for returns. So in effect there is no returns policy.(4) They were engaged & responsive through email, but that was of little comfort when they are effectively falsely advertising their product & return policy.
Promotes itself as a UK company based in Colchester but ships products from China and took ~10 days to arrive. Ordered a wool over-coat but received a cheap 100% polyester version. Cut and seams not of high quality either. When requested to return was constantly offered an increasing discount amount rather than the return details. When finally managed to get passed that informed returns had to be sent to China with a thinly veiled 'threat' that any issues with the return (getting lost in transit, damage to the item in transit etc) would result in no refund. Reported to trading standard and raised issue with credit card company for a full refund.
Came across this store on google for the first time and was impressed by their selections. I bought myself a jacket that I'm very pleased with. Overall a really nice product with a flattering design. Delivery was as expected and I was kept updated via the tracking link that they sent me. The only reason for four stars is I needed a size exchange, but the process itself was handled quickly by customer service.
