As far as I can tell the programme did what it was supposed to. My problem is that I bought a month long licence and have just found I've been charged for another month. I can't categorically say that I didn't miss the small print saying I'd set up a subscription but if I did then it is definitely sneaky to say the least. I've since tried to replicate buying it without handing over money to work out where I went wrong but have not been able to. My emails have been met with silence. Once you know this happens you can cancel the subscription but I had no idea I'd signed up for one and the £30 I lost as a result I will not be getting back.

Duplicate File Finder loses its registration after 1 or 2 uses. I have to email the company and sometimes they respond with a new registration key, sometimes they don't, but never timely. They obviously know it's an issue but do not fix it.Even worse - You can run an hours-long de-dupe and only find out it is unregistered when it will not clean the files.

Major upgrades and features come at an additional upgrade cost".Ashisoft tells you that you are able to download updates in a period of a year, but don't tell the software stops working after a year.... a very dirty sales lie.After a year the program stops working and you are requested to pay again for the the program.
