The cordless vacuum arrived fine and worked perfectly for exactly 1 year and 5 days. Stopped working and now Hoover have said it’s out the warranty so they can’t do anything.
Shame on them. I’ve had a Henry for 8 years and it still works perfectly.
The cordless Hoover vacuum cleaner was a convenient machine for little spills and quick cleans (not deep cleans) so should have lasted much longer than it has.
Now I need a new cordless vacuum cleaner and I know which make I will not be buying.

Things got even worse after my last review. Was told an engineer was calling between 2.14 and 4 .14 on a Sunday afternoon to fix my dangerous washing machine with broken glass inside as the door had shattered for no apparent reason through the night, days previously. He arrived at 8,30 in the morning ...all on the many cameras we have around, with no parts whatsoever...He explained it must be a stress crack in the glass or a zip might have hit the door. There were only towels inside! He took photos. I had already sent these to various hoover departments. I was left waiting again with jagged edges of glass on the door. I wanted to remove the machine from the house but was told not to. The report he then apparently gave his superiors differed greatly from what he told me. The machine in question is only 7 months old but is now useless and my washing is piling up........the time wasted by an incredible number of people is unbelievable and I am losing the will to live! I am waiting for the response.....they understand my frustration.....they really dont
It’s a shame to write a weak review but hoover stopped working and having any meaningful suction after less than 4 months. I cleaned it after every few times of use and looked after it in the same way I did with the previous hoover I had and kept for 8 years!Delivery didn’t happen next day as they had claimed and the customer service never responded to my emails asking for help with the malfunction only after 4 months. Zero accountability to respond to emails.
for a vital domestic appliance like a washing machine there should be no deviation on delivery date when you are being charged for the service. Very disappointing that the agreed date has been changed. Not happy at all. Useless service. Ordered on 14/11/25, agreed to delivery 20/11/25 now cannot comply and will be 25/11/25. Where's the compensation/recompense for inconvenience and external laundry costs.... not good
As the title of this review states, don'e be fooled by the 4.2 rating, as those positive reviews/ratings are clearly from people who have not yet experienced an issue with their purchase/product because thats where theyre trouble will begin!I am in total agreement with the majority of the 1 star reviews, in regard to this being the worse customer service ive had the misfortune to deal with!!! The only direct phone number gets you a department that is of no help, and they advise you to contact a different department, which can only be done by email only, which is convenient, as it enables them to do well nothing, unless you write, write and write again.I have to admit that after 2 months, i have received my refund but believe me, there have been times where i felt like giving up, with what was the most difficult of processes, which i think is their aim.I will never buy another Hoover or candy product, as both products and the customer service are sub standard.
Ordered a washing machine due to be delivered on 2nd Dec, today 28th Nov delivery cancelled with no explanation and no new delivery date given!Terrible service from what I THOUGHT was a REPUTABLE Company.This was ordered on the 10th Nov.
Terrible service oven smashed in and hob faulty took nearly 15 days to get them to take damaged goods back and even when they did was told would be another 5 days for refund and we dont compensate for expenses occured by user so no compensation for me having to pay for an electrician to install a damaged hob which like the oven had obviosly been dropped and 20 days to get my money back and i will never order from hoover direct again phoned this company several times on the number they provided to be told we dont deal with customers on the phone for damaged goods so back to email it was by far worse service ive ever had
I finally got round to using the mattress hoover I bought and I was very pleased with it. Even though I have a very good quality mattress and mattress protector, the mattress hoover managed to pick up a small dusting and it was very easy to use.
The cordless hoover is very light. It’s very good for myself as I have back pain. My other cleaner was heavy so I couldn’t use it. This was a great buy as I can use it without making my back worse. It was also a great price compared to other cordless hoovers.
