I received my bed but it wasn’t as thick as my original bed unfortunately.so I have to return it.but you are kept informed with delivery but also quick communication regards to returns and refunds.its been a swift turnaround so far.
Would highly recommend Personally had a fantastic experience with the customer service. Spoke to two different ladies, one named Debbie and unfortunately I did not get the name of the second. Both extremely helpful and fixed my issues instantly. Can't fault them. Thanks again
If I could give 0 I would . Same as many others on here, bed badly damaged upon arrival. Rang within an hour of delivery asking for a collection. Collected on the 11th & still no refund today 13 days later. Email received saying the refund had been placed...to a different company from the 1 we had bought it from !!!Just spoke to a man who stated 'oversight'on their part. A bit like the countless other messed up orders & refunds obviously. Refund is still going to take 3-5 days. Absolute joke of a company Avoid !!Just to add ,now, 2 hours later Argos - who we bought the bed through ,have text me stating that my order was now complete & courier will be in touch to deliver the bed within 2-3 days !! They however were much more helpful when I rang & explained the situation !!
I put this review on their website and they deleted it- says a lot. Bed arrived significantly damaged, was told this is quite normal as they often get damaged in transit. However it is clear that one particular part is broken and has tried to be mended because a matt paint has been used on it and the overall finish is more of a gloss. Customer service have completely ignored this factor (as with a lot of other things) In total around 50% of the parts were damaged, the solution offered? Replacement parts be sent out. I agreed to this for some of the more substantial parts but requested a refund on the others. Only received a 20% refund for the remaining parts. The replacement parts ‘have been lost by UPS’ despite having a confirmed delivery slot (which of course meant cancelling plans for the day and then not even receiving it). Customer service is slow and not particularly helpful. The slats at back don’t join with the bed and the whole thing has started creaking with minimal movement in the night. It appears it actually doesn’t fit together properly the ottoman part of it doesn’t match up with the support underneath so it’s just hanging on through god knows what. I imagine it will just collapse one night. In summary it’s a pile of crap. I am 3 weeks post delivery and have wasted a lot of time and energy going back and forth. I still haven’t reached a solution It’s just so ridiculous that companies stock such utter rubbish and expect people to pay hundreds of pounds for it.
I bought an Aspire cashmere wool mattress from Very website in June 2024. I bought it on the strength of 8 x 5* star reviews. No problem with the purchase. The mattress looked nice, well made. However, as soon as the mattress was in place I immediately noticed how soft and unsupportive the sides were. If you roll even slightly near the sides you will fall off as I did once and almost, on several other occasions, lucky I didn't injure myself, very dangerous! It was quite firm initially so I used a topper but I started to suffer with increasing sinus problems so removed the topper as it was memory foam and I believed that was the cause.A while later the mattress started to dip under my hip area and hasn't recovered. My sinus problems were still ongoing so I wondered if it was the mattress? I wrote to the company to enquire if anything used in the mattress might be an allergen. I wasn't accusing them, I was merely asking the question. After 5 days I received a response from customer service implying that I was an idiot for not realising that cashmere is animal product and as such likely to cause allergies. They went on to question my choice given my sinus problems, but without knowing a thing about me or them, or my usual triggers which, as a pet owner, I can safely say are not animals. They also questioned whether I had been back to Very with this query. I had not for the simple reason it had been so long, they would have referred me to the company, so I cut out the middle man.So rude! And I now find, no integrity so it seems. I find it very strange that the only reviews on Very or indeed Aspires own website are 5* positive. Clearly doctored as the reviews here on Trust pilot tell a different story. I wish I had read these first!
Terrible company bed damaged in multiple pieces was a nightmare to box back up. Customer service shocking and they hold onto your money until bed is uplifted by courier (courier did not come for three days and only after B&Q intervened) Aspire they should aspire to do better ! I would not recommend buying from them.
When I first received my Aspire bed, I was actually impressed. It looked stylish, the fabric was nice, and at first glance, it seemed like a decent purchase. Even lying on it for the first time, it felt okay—nothing premium, but serviceable. Unfortunately, that feeling didn’t last.Within a few months, the flaws started showing. The bed creaked constantly, even with the slightest movement, and the support slats—made from cheap, flimsy wood—began breaking one by one. I don’t mean after years of use; I mean within six months, the entire frame became unusable. The bed quickly turned from a promising piece of furniture into an unstable, wobbly mess. The worst part? Once the slats give out, you’re stuck with a weak, practically worthless frame. And don’t expect Aspire’s customer service to help—they’ll blame assembly, claim it’s “wear and tear,” and offer no real solutions.Aspire Beds might look good initially, but don’t be fooled. Beneath the surface is a cheaply made, low-quality product that won’t last. Save your money and buy from a company that actually builds beds to last longer than a few months.
We purchased a wooden bed frame and mattress x 2 via mail shop through to Aspire. Unfortunately there was a slight problem with the mattress and this was all sorted very efficiently by Luke Painter. We can certainly say that Aspire is an excellent company to deal with.
Have shopped in Aspire in the past, never had issues. Always quick delivery and good products. Bought a bed at end of December which unfortunately was damaged when installing. Emailed customer service, response took a bit more time as it was during the festive period. Luke from Customer service was really great though and organised the return asap. Great comms, understanding. The bed was collected and all done. Thank you.
