I will not use a broker again since I am always ending up paying a lot extra for the incurance at the rental company (in France, USA and recently in Portugal).Here is the answer recived from Auto Europe on my complain:On the voucher, in our Terms & Conditions and on our homepage, we clearly state that there will be a excess amount connected to your rental car. As an extra service, Auto Europe offers "Excess refund" products, that under certain conditions (rental period, car category, police report etc) gives you the posibility to have the excess charged by the local supplier refunded by us, in case of a damage or theft of the rental car during your rental period.Be aware that AutoEurope offers a lot of different products and the "super cover" package that I choosed was obviously not enough!Be also aware that the "local" rental company will check your car extra for damages when returning the car, since it is not insured by them. Imagine the process of claiming a scratch on the car with AutoEurpe.. I can assume that they are pritty skilled in getting rid of you asking for police report etc :-)
