Review Time
Avado are a great provider, I've just finished my CIPD Level 5 and thanks to Britt Webster, I felt confident enough that I would pass each time. She was a great help and really spent time explaining. My only suggestion would be to have more sessions throughout the units, 2 is great but with a full-time job its hard to access these live (especially when I had specific q's).
My primary motivation for writing this review is to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for my tutor, Federica. Her exceptional guidance has truly elevated my learning experience. First and foremost, Federica demonstrates remarkable patience, ensuring that everyone understands the material and the specific requirements of each assessment. Secondly, her kind and engaging personality creates a supportive learning environment. Despite the diverse levels of experience within our cohort, she is attentive to each individual, offering encouragement and consistently bringing a cheerful disposition to our sessions. Finally, the sheer speed and responsiveness of her communication. The fact that Federica replies to questions so quickly has been an invaluable support. This speed of feedback was completely unexpected and has made a significant difference to my progress. I've heard stories about other CIPD providers and their online self-learning programs, but AVADO, with its excellent tutors and prompt feedback, has clearly mastered this approach. What's also impressed me is the sense of community we've developed within our cohort. Even though we are learning remotely, there's a genuine camaraderie that has made the journey feel less isolating. Federica, your work is truly superb!
My teacher, Federica Grisanti, is truly amazing. The way she explains concepts and interacts with us makes it so much easier for me to clarify my doubts. Her teaching approach is not only effective but also inspiring, and I can see how much effort she puts into ensuring we understand the material. I gave 0 star. I wrote the review here last year 2024 but with the pressure from my company, I had no choice to delete. Avado provided a higher discount to my company. My manager pressured me to delete as to maintain good relationships. Now, my company also found that Avado is not good and use another provider.I began the course CIPD Level 3 on Sep 2023.Level 3 has 4 units. For the first 3 unit, it is normal. The tutor support session is very clear. Already set up the date and time. However, when coming to the last unit which is the longest and biggest one, they suddenly change practice. Suppose we entitled to 4 tutor support sessions. They change to 2 Tutor support sessions and 2 cafe cohorts. OK, no problem. But the worst is, it will not fix a date and time for you. They will list all the date and time for all cohort. The reason they gave is that if you can make it with the date and time they fixed, you can choose another date and time. As different cohort may have different tutor, the tutor in the support session indicated that this is for which cohort. You see, no different, still have a fixed date and time, but it is you to book. Even worst, the session only show which unit (remember the course consist of 4 units) but no show the cohort. I'm in Sept 23 cohort. I have no idea which date and time is for Sept 23 until at that date when I clicked to join, the tutor will tell you. Waste my time. As I don't want to miss the support session and cafe cohort, I booked all. I complain and suggest to add the cohort on each date and time for us to book. However, they change too late and then I missed 2nd tutor support session. If you think this is the end, no. The big thing happened. From the beginning of the unit, we are not told to aware one task should include a video. They just advised either use Teams or Zoom. On 29 Apr 2024 is deadline to submit the assessment. I submitted and receive a confirmation email. Today, 1 May, I received a email told me that my file is too large and can mark. Tell me to modify it and submit again. I checked with my tutor and he told me that my link is a personal sharepoint and the other download video is too big to open. He advise either to put the link through open sharepoint or upload to youtube. Please be understood that it is the business version of Microsoft that can have Teams. I as a household user, how can I have Teams and Sharepoint????? And I'm not a youtuber, how can I know how to upload to youtube and set private and unlist. It is my tutor sent me a link to a youtube video which teach how to upload a video to youtube. He told me to submit again and the deadline is Mon, 6 May 2024 at 10 am. That means I late submit. That means I will get my result a week later. That means if my assessment fail in some parts (I don't think my assessment all pass with one submission), I have 1 week less to submit 2nd attempt. Why, it is not my fault and punish me? The administration is so bad and confuse. I found in the chatroom that not only me face this problem. Do you know what Avado means ? A Very Awful Dreadful Organisation. It is my company to let me take this course. They believe Avado is a good provider. I will complain to my company and advise not to use this provider. I'm very angry. I never come across such rubbish administration and management company. Don't forget their cost is not cheap. It is not worthwhile to pay expensive fee but receive rubbish administration and management. I make this review is under the risk of fail the assessment if Avado see this review. But I'm really very very very very very angry. I want to complain, complain, complain. Why I'm so angry, one of the reasons is that I know I would get any compensation. I would like to advise other people don't choose Avado.
