Mark Beacham has been a wonderful source of support and guidance throughout my learning experience with Avado. As a past learner himself, he has the ability to break down the assignment criteria to embed understanding and knowledge. I personally found the other tutors more challenging, and often came away form tutor and cohort sessions more confused. Only having two live sessions per unit is very challenging and sometimes felt inadequate. I would have personally liked to have more scheduled sessions, however where possible Mark would always supply extra support. The qualification is challenging, and you need to be disciplined and manage your time effectively, but the material is accessible and support documents such as the grading grid are effective tools in assisting learners to stay on track with assignment content. Communicating with other learners fosters a community spirit that assists with morale and helped motivate me when things felt overwhelming.
I had the absolute pleasure of being tutored by Mark Beacham, and I can confidently say that without his help and guidance, I would not have passed my qualification. His ability to break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations made all the difference in my learning journey. I think Avado is a good choice to study the CIPD Level 5 if you like having a strong structure to guide the study. It is a lot of hard work to stick to the 6-7 weeks time for each assessment but it brings you to finish the CIPD in just under a year instead of dragging it for years. The tutor sessions are really helpful and just on their own worth the fee. Michael is a responsive tutor who gets back on questions and requests of support.
I have completed previous courses with alternative providers that have been hard to follow and had little to no support. Avado has been great in terms of the live tutor sessions, feedback and quick responses to any questions / queries. It is fast paced and can feel a little daunting but the tutor is great at explaining and the other members of the cohort are also supportive. I am currently on module 2 so nowhere near finished yet but I am pleased with how this is going so far.
Having completed CIPD Level 5 qualification through Avado, I thought it may be useful for those looking into the qualification some feedback. I have now done the Level 3 and Level 5 through Avado. The support and help has been amazing. Particular thanks to my tutor Mark Beacham. Mark is extremely knowledge and explains each module in a simple clear manner.
I have just completed level 3 in People Practice and Federica and Sofia were our tutors and I found Federica's learning style suited to me better. I did ask a few questions through the Avado help page and had an answer from Federica the same day each time with a lengthy reply to help me. I felt very supported and have enjoyed the course
