1. Death is a pretty morbid but inevitable thing to discuss, but we had a good laugh getting it sorted. It was a pleasure to chat with the sales staff, who talked me through the purchase and ensured that I was fully aware of what I was buying.2. Knowing that the company has been operating for decades gives me confidence that it will not just vanish with my money.3. Knowing that, should it cease trading, UK financial laws ensure that I will get my money back also boosts confidence.

I contacted Avalon13 months ago and Andy came to visit us. After going through the presentation and options of the funeral plans I needed time to discuss with family… 13 months later I contacted Avalon again and Andy needed to revisit to ensure nothing had changed and to ensure we fully understood what was covered, amazingly in all that time no one pressured us to take a policy out and Andy was just as helpful as his first visit, professional at all times and very informative and answered all our questions in full. I have friends with Avalon plans and in December 24 lost a friend with Avalon plan and due to my first meeting with Andy was able to help his wife in what to do when he passed, it was such a stressful time made so much smoother with the help and assistance of Avalon staff. I would certainly recommend the company and Andy to everyone. Thanks for your patience and time 🙂.
From start to finish taking out a plan, then I changed it, then I have moved three times. The customer service was excellent each time. They were very helpful and friendly,and new documents arrived within days. Very professional and reliable.
My mother unfortunately passed, we paid for the funeral then discovered she had a cremation policy. I contacted the company and explained that the funeral was complete. We asked if the policy could be refunded, they said we would have to go to probate. We estimated it was a little over £1,000, a very small amount, this company has no compassion and caused stress to the family.
