Azure Storage Explorer and Azcopy are hunks of junk. Its an insult to the businesses that have to us

Azure Storage Explorer and Azcopy are hunks of junk. Its an insult to the businesses that have to use this. I have spent over a week trying to get a single TB of data onto blob storage using these tools, it can NOT handle it. This software often freezes up and mishandles the paths you give it, those files are going wherever Azure thinks they should go... you have zero say in it.

Hidden costs on everything you do

Hidden costs on everything you do, and if you don’t pay 99€ a month for priority support, they will just redirect your queries to some indians who doesn’t even comprehend English enough to understand your query, not solving it at all. Too bad, competition out there is way more advanced, speaking of support but also price convenience

Price gouging to the extreme

In order to put an SSL binding on a web app, you need a basic service account, which costs almost $70/month. That's on top of paying for the server, on top of paying for the domain. Just the binding, requires that price tag. That's price gouging. That's a scam. There is no reason at all for this feature to be gated behind that requirement.

Upgraded my laptop to Win11 because of end of support Win10 security updates.Installed Azure Storage Explorer thinking this would be an ease. Installed everything they prompted for (ie. latest .NET). Tried logging in to my Azure subscription several times but unable to. Had to do a search on google for a customer support number because Microsoft’s support website does not list one. The voice message says to go to website ms.something or another which I done but still doesn’t help with a resolution. I give two stars because I’ve had no issues with storage of my data on the Azure cloud but the connectivity issues to get at my data definitely leaves somethings to be desired.

This product is the worst I've ever seen

This product is the worst I've ever seen.Non-functional tooling, no up-to-date documentation, everything is slow to react, the web portal is deeply flawed and inconsistent, it's not reliable and expensive (price would not be an issue it it actually worked).

Charging for service that doesn't eist

Subject: Urgent: Unauthorized Azure Charges & Non-existent Database — No Support ResponseI am deeply frustrated and disappointed with Microsoft Azure’s customer service. I have been billed for a database that does not exist. Last year I used one service and one SQL database. I cancelled the service, but my billed amount doubled.More recently, I explicitly deleted the SQL and closed the database service, yet my charges jumped by 70%. I have no active database, but I’m still getting billed. It feels like they’re simply ripping me off.I have tried to reach Azure support but received no meaningful response. Customer service is nonexistent. This is unacceptable. I demand:A full investigation and audit of my billing historyA refund for charges incurred after service cancellationA direct Microsoft contact (manager or escalation) to resolve thisIf no response is made within a reasonable timeframe, I will escalate further (regulators, public forums, legal).
