Booked an appointment to attend the Leeds Clinic, but when I arrived I was told the clinic didn't even exist. Rang and emailed head office, only for the man to say "we'll try and give you a refund"?!Horrible experience. Majorly disapointed and yet to receive my refund.
my scan experience was very poor. I had a trainee do my scan at Wakefield who seemed to have no idea what they were doing and just completely took away from what should have been an exciting experience. I left feeling very deflated, I didn't pay to have a trainee for my private scan. I could tell she had very little experience. I went to miracle inside in Leeds for my first born and had such a lovely experience so I'm just very upset how this scan turned out. The head office also haven’t been bothered to respond to my email. The receptionist however was lovely !
I attended The Baby Ultrasound Clinic for an early scan at Huddersfield to check that my baby was okay and to get reassurance. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling more anxious rather than reassured.During the scan, the sonographer repeatedly focused on my ovaries, which was not my concern or the reason for my visit. I had booked to confirm my baby’s wellbeing (gestational sac, fetal pole and dating), but this was not clearly explained to me at the time. The lack of clear communication meant I left feeling uncertain and worried.When I raised my concerns with the clinic, I received apologies and was told that the scan met their internal protocols. However, this did not address the fact that the service failed to provide me with the reassurance I had booked and paid for. While I understand that they are now looking at improving staff training, this was not helpful for the scan I had.I am disappointed with my experience and would not return. I hope that in the future the clinic provides clearer communication so that patients leave with confidence and reassurance rather than anxiety.
they say you can get an early gender scan from 14 weeks but i was almost 17 weeks and they got it wrong! waste of money i’ve also emailed asking for information and after a week still no reply. Don’t recommend whatsoever. only 2 weeks later it was a clear boy NOT a girl like they told me.
Please think twice before booking a scan at the Lindley , Huddersfield clinic. I had an appalling experience. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage and was given the wrong advice by the sonographer to still attend my midwifes appointment which caused me a huge amount of distress as the midwife was not aware and congratulated me on my pregnancy (which was not her fault) .I have put in a formal complaint to the Head office who I had to chase after 7 working days to answer my complaint and then have not even bothered to read my complaint in detail or reply when I have questioned their response. I ended up having two scans with two separate sonographers at the clinic who had poor communication skills. However the receptionist was lovely and very compassionate when she learnt the news of my miscarriage. The head office have taken little accountability for what has happened and have not reassured me that their staff will be trained in what to tell someone if they do have a miscarriage.
Avoid. Booked in for a 4d scan at the Huddersfield branch Sunday 25th May. On the day the sonographer didn’t turn up the shop was shut. Had no correspondence to say this was the case. Tried ring the number on the shop front no answer and tried Head office. Making calls for 30 mins straight between the two numbers and no answer. Head office eventually got back and said they tried to contact me but my number was put down incorrectly which was a lie, because I went into the branch to book the appointment due having twins and wanted to make sure I book the correct suitable package and my telephone number and email was confirmed. I got call back from head office offering a scan at Wakefield or to book in another day at Huddersfield. Due to having family members with I took the Wakefield offer. Big Mistake! Terms and conditions with twins scan is 30 mins the scan I got given 15mins. One of the twins wouldn’t cooperate got told I to go for a walk but couldn’t get scanned again until 3 hours later due the list of others waiting to be scanned. Got offered to get booked into Huddersfield for rescan and said I will take that. Instead of booking me in for that got told to jog on the spot to try again. Apparently that non coperative twin has now moved, which I’m unsure of how she knew it was that twin because the twins I’m carrying are sharing the same sac and the same placenta. They just didn’t want to book me back in Huddersfield. The experience was absolutely awful and the images are horrendous. They are not clear and some of them are just random just for the sake of taking some. I’ve got better scan pictures from the hospital in 2d. I emailed the company the same day with my complaint about this service and 2 days got a email back saying it had been passed to a manager and I will be contacted in 7 working days. This has not been the case. I’ve chased up with follow up emails and telephone phone calls leaving voice messages to head office and no responses from either. Absolutely shocking customer service!
