Been here once before, so when I saw they had an offer for 3d/4d scans at £39, i booked another. Little did i know it would be cancelled due to the snow. This was on the 5th Jan. I couldnt rebook due to working, so i asked for a refund. I rang, messaged and emailed and still nothing. Luckily i paid through paypal! So they have refunded me. All i got was it needs passing to the manager .... (wakefield branch)Such a shame really
I paid in full for a private scan with this clinic. Unfortunately suffered a terrible miscarriage on Christmas eve and had to cancel my scan. I gave them 3 weeks notice to cancel the appointment but when I rang up was told they do not give refunds. Profiting from women who have suffered miscarriages is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, unethical and according to the Consumer Rights Act, totally illegal. I explained this to the colleague dealing with my call who then said they would take it up with a manager who would contact be back the same day but still have not. I will be escalating this further.
Myself and my partner went for an emergency scan today and it has turned out to be one of the worst days of our lives, made worse by our experience here. (Bolton clinic)The staff were friendly and helpful, but after we found no heartbeat and the baby hadn’t grown, we were referred to the hospital. The staff were supportive and professional and handled the situation well until this point. When we were there they offered to send us their report for the hospital, we then received a phone call when on our way to the hospital explaining they had sent us pictures of someone else’s healthy baby with their details. You can imagine how my partner felt getting this call and pictures, I just can’t understand how you can make such a huge mistake at such a critical time. This is a serious breach of data protection, I doubt they’re going to let the person whose pictures they’ve sent know about this situation.I know it’s a simple mistake to make attaching the wrong documents to an email but this then made my partner doubt the whole experience was right and gave her false hope until we got to the hospital. I truly hope this never happens to anyone else.
