Customer care doesn't exist here

I went to their branch to show my newly received Spanish ID card (they are restricting my account without it). The employee who was meant to attend me (each one of them only did a certain kind of job in spite of a long queue) first decided to attend a client on the phone and that turned to be a 20 minutes conversation, then he decided to attend a client who entered after me, when it finally was my turn, because the client told him he was in a hurry to get to work. I protested, to no avail. I left. I filed a complaint with the Bank, with fotos of my new ID card attached asking to accept them that way. They were not accepted, nor anybody reached out to bring an apology. The only response I received was a human being (I mean, it was not an automated response) telling me they'll respond in a month, according to their general rule. They keep restricting my account.

The worst bank ever!

The worst bank ever!! Unresponsive, unresponsible. Had a leakage for 6 months and still not fixed. Banco Sabadell destroyed my roof and now does not want to fix it!If you want a bank that you trust, that will help you and not create problems, choose another bank!

Useless bank can’t even manage to close account.

Avoid this bank. After several years with them we have sold all our Spanish property and have no need of the account. After spending hours on the phone and a lot of money we have got no nearer to closing the account. There is no money in it as we brought it to nil as they advised but they still are unable to close it. I have asked to have my emails referred to the complaints department but keep getting a completely useless generic reply. I have told them I will not be going back to the island to close it in person or putting anymore money into it.

Avoid.mi tarjeta extranjera sin motivo válido.En la sucursal de la Plaza Costa del Sol, el personal fue arrogante y nada colaborador.Indicaron que la tarjeta fue destruida, pero se negaron a proporcionar cualquier comprobante.Servicio inaceptable, especialmente con turistas extranjeros. Mejor evitar este banco.

Avoid this bank like the PLAGUE!

Avoid this bank (especially their wholly owned home owner's insurance company called Blink) like the PLAGUE. The worse customer service I have ever experienced, failure to return calls, failure to pay claims and high pressure sales tactics. All they do is collect your annual premium while denying all claims with virtually no explanation and no way to appeal. Be careful... they will also auto renew your policy even after you cancel it.

I have my home insurance with Sabadell…

Update - they ignore your calls. After finally getting through (4th attempt) and begging him not to leave me hanging he passed me on to another agent and left me waiting for another 20 minutes before I finally ended the call after realising they weren´t going to answer.Don´t use - find another insurer. I will be looking for a new mortgage provider to change to Original review I have my home insurance with Sabadell and raised a ticket yesterday as I have a leak in my kitchen with water dripping through from the recent rain. They sent me an SMS appointment for today that someone would come out between 8:00-10:00. I have taken the day off work and no one has come out. No one answered on their whatapp for 30 minutes and when they did they told me that and the SMS isn´t a real appointment. Thens he disappeared and I´m still waiting for a response on whatsapp whilst trying to call them as well. When I finally got through on the phone after waiting for 15 minutes in the queue the lady told me she was managing my request and then disappeared and left me hanging on the phone for 10 minutes until I finally hung up. I have called again and have gone through the process of providing my NIE and waiting another 10 minutes listening to the music until it just went dead. As I write this I am still waiting for my phone call to be answered (listening to repetitive music again)...terrrible, terrible service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Been with the Bank 20 years last 2/3 years a disgrace. Their insurance company declines claims and gives no explanations and no options to review or appeal, in fact they still cant send you a letterTheir local branches interested to push in house bank products such as them obviously all hard sell commissions paid and sod the customer

DO NOT CONSIDER USING THIS BANK AS AN EXPAT

If I could give 0 star I would. Is the worse bank I have ever had the misfortune to have accounts with. No transparency, a Bank manager who lied to my face, and also made his staff lie to me! They allowed a fraudulent access to my account, after they notified me they suspected it and said they had blocked my account, they then allowed the thieves to continue to access it until they cleared my entire account out.I tried everything to get them to sort it out, made an official police report, Bank ignored it, I denounced the bank, I denounced the Manager, submitted 2 official complaints, had several meetings with the manager who was totally non responsive, rude and abusive. At the time of the fraud, I was not even in Spain I was on holiday, not even in Europe, the access was always made in Spain, they would not do anything to recover or return my money so I lost everything from that account. They court expats yet have no respect for us, the most unprofessional Bank ever.

Impossible to contact

Impossible to contact. Impossible to cancel Home Insurance policy. Impossible to successfully lodge small claim. Surly, rude unhelpful staff. Query and withhold all even minor incoming funds.
