I have bought Barker shoes for many years, as a shoe of very high quality, which were priced accordingly. These boots were of very poor quality - the leather was of poor quality both in feel and look. What a shame.
The trainers I received recently had a noticeable mark on them, and the color was significantly different from what was shown online. I've seen the shoes in-store, and the color matched the online image. My husband has consistently purchased shoes from this company over the years due to their style and quality. However, the customer service has been extremely disappointing. I attempted to reach out via email and the chatbot but received no response. I got an email that was completely empty and two follow-up codes from the chatbot, but again, no reply. I will proceed with the return myself, as I need the refund processed. The company's website states they will arrange collection if a customer is dissatisfied with the quality of the shoes. I included photos in my ignored email showing the mark and the color issue. Please improve your customer service, as your product is generally great.
I placed an order on 3 Dec 25, but as of 14 Dec 25, I have yet to receive anything and have had no communication from the company or the delivery service until I received an email asking for a review. Noticing numerous 1-star reviews from others who have waited over 11 days, it's clear there are issues with order processing. I won't spend more time sending frustrated emails, but I'm very disappointed and hope this gets resolved quickly.
I ordered my shoes on December 3rd and still haven't received them! They provided a tracking number, but the shipping service indicates it's incorrect. I've reached out to the support team multiple times over the past five days, and they keep saying, "our team will be in touch shortly," but nothing has changed. I've also emailed the service three times with no response. This has been a frustrating experience, especially during this busy season! The lack of a contact number only adds to the annoyance.
I purchased a pair of high-shine shoes, and they arrived in just two days. They are absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, I couldn't fit my extra wide feet into them! I wanted them for a parade with my association. I returned them last Tuesday and visited the factory shop hoping to find a wide fitting pair of a similar style, but no luck! If only I could afford a custom-made pair! In my opinion, the best quality is British made 🇬🇧.
