Disappointing Experience with the Organization

Like many charities, the organization sells items online. After making a purchase meant for collection at a local location, I couldn't retrieve it in time. I requested a refund, but the returned item was lost in transit. The organization refused to contact the postal service, as the sender, and provided no assistance, even though the returns process is their responsibility. The platform simply referred to the incorrect tracking and denied my refund. I strongly advise against buying from this organization online or donating to them, given their lack of integrity.

I usually visit the local store. I checked the website for opening hours, which stated they were open on Sunday until 4. I arrived to donate clothes at 11:45, but the store was closed. It would be helpful to update the website.

Unpleasant Encounter with Fundraiser

I had an encounter with a particularly rude street fundraiser yesterday. I was clearly in a rush and had already been approached earlier. The person who tried to stop me should have recognized my urgency before approaching. I firmly told him 'no' because I had already declined earlier and was in a hurry. His response was, 'so unfriendly!!' You're not entitled to our time. If you can't recognize when people are busy, that's your issue. I already donate to charity voluntarily, and to be honest, I find this organization questionable. I won't contribute to them, especially with representatives like that. Very frustrating experience.

Unpleasant Donation Experience

I donated two shopping carts full of books and toys at the local shop. The manager was extremely rude and obstructive. She wouldn't allow me to bring the cart inside, despite having done so before. When I mentioned a second load, she demanded my gift aid card immediately. She wasn't even aware of the donation's value, so I questioned how they could determine the gift aid amount. Upon returning with the second load, her attitude worsened, and when I offered the card again, she shouted that she didn't need it. I will never donate or shop here again. It's no surprise they have such a low rating.

Mixed Experience at the Charity Shop

After my MRI scan nearby, I noticed the store was close to where I parked. I decided to go in and take a look. While I found some baby items for my niece and a small toy on sale, the manager was rude and dismissive when I asked for a price correction on an item. She seemed irritated to have to come off the phone. I commented on her arrogance, as it was surprising she was in a managerial role with such a poor attitude towards customers. The volunteer who assisted me was lovely and deserved recognition for her efforts.

Rude Staff and Poor Management

I checked the opening hours for the local store, which clearly stated a 6 PM closing time. I arrived at 5:41 PM, only to be met with a rude staff member who shouted 'closed.' When I pointed out the time, she insisted they close the doors at 5:45 PM for cleaning. While that's understandable, they should update their published hours to avoid confusion. The manager's attitude was truly unpleasant. I recommend avoiding this location.
