I bought a lot in a development that was planned by Tower design for some community septic, and some individual septic. My lot was an outlier as the design was for my neighbors to have my drain field on their property with an easement. While purchasing the property I was shown a plat map displaying the said easement, but in actuality it was never recorded with the county. I had asked Tower several times if there was a way to have something on my own land given today's technology. I was told no, the only option is on the neighboring lot. After a consult with a lawyer and having no reasonable recourse I reached out to James at Basic Septic. He was a bit skeptical that this could be even be true. He came out and dug the first hole, a geological wonder of clay and malleable dirt mix that would later prove to retain water for over months. The second hole, a bit of the same on top, but below sand and soil suitable for a drain field. The third hole, absolutely perfect black sand. James and crew sent me a design that would work for the drain field but shifted my home into a position that was not ideal for us so I asked him to come reconsider a layout. Gladly he met on site and we walked through what our hope was given some compromises with the home location and a change of the reserve field. At this time he dug a new hole for the reserve location and what do you know, it was acceptable soil for a drain field as well. After seeing the foundation footprint it is amazing to see how much sand was covering the lot, in fact too much that I had to mitigate with crushed rock. I just really want to thank James and Basic Septic for their second opinion and actually doing work to solve a terrible situation. Also of note, their pricing is fair and while I didn't have any installation work yet to this point, I am confident that they will provide quality work. A testament to his character was validated by helping a low income family fix a septic system that had been in failure for many years, and he provided that at a charitable rate. Really a great man.
They came for a septic inspection for our property sale .It was freezing cold and very last minute. They came on time and were very professional and friendly. I recommend them to everyone. In fact I will have them service my new septic at my new home.
This project was so professional from start to finish. I had a piece of property in Washington that needed a septic system, and I live in California. The whole thing was done via email and Zoom. The design, the installation and the inspection, I never even saw it until it was completely finished. Had a long personal conversation with the guy doing the digging, very hands on operation. I'd recommend them any day.
This company did an excellent job installing our septic system. They were very good at communicating with us on details and schedules. This company is very reliable and if there was a place for ten stars we would rate them a 10. They are very nice people and we highly recommend them. Also they went above and beyond to work with our electrician and kept every promise.
My situation was very time sensitive. I contacted 4 septic designers and James responded within 24hrs. (2 of the others just responded after James had already completed the job.) He was very professional, compassionate and got me exactly what I needed to move forward.
