I started a charge aiming to add just 10kWh to reach my destination. Unlike other machines, this one requires you to tap your bank card again to stop the charge. Unfortunately, the card readers malfunctioned, preventing me from stopping the charging. I couldn't reach the support team by phone. While this alone might not justify a 1-star rating, the refusal to refund me for the unwanted charge I was forced to accept is simply outrageous.
I started a charge aiming to add just 10kWh to reach my destination. This machine requires you to tap your bank card again to stop the charge, which is different from others I've used. Unfortunately, the card readers stopped working, and I couldn't stop the charging process. I also couldn't get through to the support team by phone. While this alone might not justify a 1-star rating, their refusal to refund me for the charge I didn’t want and was forced to accept is simply unacceptable.
I called because of the 150 ultra rapid charge, but I had to turn off all electronics in the car since it wasn’t charging properly. It was only charging at 30kW, which resulted in just 1% increase every 3 to 4 minutes. Completely ineffective.
I raised a complaint with the company. To their credit, they responded quickly and escalated my concern. I've improved my rating because, although the initial issue shouldn’t have happened and the out-of-hours team was unhelpful, a representative in customer services was very supportive and addressed my problems. I will adjust my rating again once I receive further updates. Initially, I was unable to remove the charger from my car, and the helpdesk couldn’t assist. They promised a call back that never happened, leaving me stuck until the charge reached 100%, which was more than I needed.
I visited a charging point located at a multi-use site and found it extremely user-friendly through the app. There was ample space, the charging was quick, and the rates were excellent for the speeds offered. I haven't tried the direct app yet, but I highly recommend this service.
After seeing the launch of several new locations on social media, I decided to check one out. I visited a site that was previously a petrol station, and it was the best charging station I've encountered! It only cost 25p/kWh, and the service was prompt. I had a question about a receipt, and the representative answered immediately, sending it to me within minutes. I’ll be looking for more sites in the area.
I connected to the charging point and was asked to present my bank card, but I received an error message. The charging cable wouldn’t release from the machine. I contacted the support team and was told to expect a call or email, but after 22 hours, I still hadn’t heard back. A representative advised me to call roadside recovery, which seemed inappropriate since it was the machine’s fault. Eventually, I was contacted by a customer manager who assured me they would review my calls and make necessary changes. He explained the situation and promised to return my cable or provide a new one, along with two complimentary charges as a goodwill gesture. After further communication, I feel more confident in the company's commitment to customer service and will be looking for their stations in the future.
I have been waiting several weeks for an update regarding the installation at a local retail park. When I inquired again today, they were unable to provide any information on when the site would be operational. What does it take to get a timeline for new installations? Come on, company, step it up!
As someone new to EV charging, I felt a bit anxious arriving at the charging site. Fortunately, a team member was present and guided me through every step. I now feel confident enough to handle it myself next time and will definitely return.
