We had bought a new to us Lodge and wanted instructions for the cooker & Hob, I went ion the internet with model number, the internet site stated there was a safety notice for our built in oven grill, I phoned the customer helpline and Andrew L dealt with my concerns, We now have an engineer calling next week to check the oven grill and carry our repairs, Andrew was polite and helpful throughout the calls, he phoned me back with a date that the engineer would call, a happy customer.
Purchased a 60cm electric induction single oven. It fits my kitchen perfectly, but there’s an issue with the knobs. They look attractive, yet the large knobs obscure the mode and temperature settings, making the markers nearly impossible to see. This forces me to kneel down to check the oven mode and temperature, which undermines the convenience of having a more accessible oven compared to a double oven. I believe this could be a simple design fix for future models.
Our 2022 model has developed a rusty hole in the top oven door, and the grill has rusted due to a ventilation issue. Unfortunately, I can't replace the door as the necessary parts are unavailable. I reached out to the support team, but since it’s out of warranty, they cannot help. This is frustrating given we spent over £800 expecting a quality product. I will not consider this brand again.
I bought a dual fuel cooker in August 2025. Initially, the grill malfunctioned and then completely stopped working after a few months. I contacted customer service to schedule a repair, which was straightforward. I mentioned my shift work and limited availability. The agent assured me it wouldn't be a problem and scheduled the repair for December 18. I was pleased with how easy it was. However, a few days later, I received a text from another company indicating an engineer would come on December 12, a day I was unavailable. I called to ask about the date change, but the agent couldn't explain it. The earliest they could reschedule was January. I was very disappointed with the aftercare, especially during this busy season when I wanted to fully utilize my new cooker.
My cooker has been burning food due to the hob not reducing heat. This is the second time this has occurred in 2.5 years. I previously paid for a repair two years ago, and now I'm being asked for an additional £220 for the same repair on a cooker that cost £1000 and is only 7 years old. I cannot recommend this cooker.
