I purchased a basic double airbed from a retailer. It lost air within approximately 4 hours during its initial use. The retailer replaced it without hesitation, but unfortunately, the replacement also deflated the first time it was used, leaving our grandson on the hard floor at 3 am. The airbed was inexpensive, so perhaps it reflects the quality. We opted for a more premium brand afterward, which has worked well so far. Lesson learned!

If you want to spoil your weekend, go for one of these. I camped for the first time at 73 years old and could have almost enjoyed it if the airbed had stayed inflated. Waking up at 4 a.m. on a completely deflated mattress and having to reinflate it every night ruined the experience. Very dissatisfied.
I purchased a single airbed with a built-in pump from an online platform for £69.99. After using it just three times as a spare bed, it went flat during the night on the fourth use. There's no visible sign of a leak. No warranty from the manufacturer, and I can't reach the online platform for a refund.
At 75 years old, I recently downsized and had to rely on friends for a few months. I bought two other mattresses from competitors that failed, so I was hesitant about this one, but I thought maybe third time's a charm. I had forgotten how comfortable a bed could be until I tried this one. It’s incredibly comfortable, doesn’t leak thanks to a secondary pump, and I've finally had a good night's sleep since selling my house. I wish I could give it ten stars! Thank you for the wonderful sleep, and as a bonus, my friends are still my friends!
In May 2022, I noticed that a retailer was selling inflatable canoes at £65 each, while the same kayaks were over £100 elsewhere. I bought two for my grandchildren's visit in August but foolishly left them sealed for storage. When I finally unpacked them, one wouldn’t inflate due to missing parts, and the other inflated unevenly. In the water, it was evident that the side tubes were poorly glued, making it dangerous. Customer service was helpful, but the manufacturer claimed no faults and wanted me to pay for repairs. I've learned to unpack and test purchases immediately and to avoid cheaply made products sold by foreign companies. I'm now £130 out of pocket with two unusable kayaks.
