A lot of the rides had to close due to breaking down some weren't even open. Queued for ages for rides to be turned away because they had broken down. Managed to get on 3 rides. £ 50 each for 3 rides is a rip off !! Food is disgusting there undercooked and over priced. It needs a major face-lift or shutting down. Run very badly and rude staff do it no justice !

Greedy owner

We live right by the now called "pleasure resort"it costs between£30 to £40 just to walk around, Several pensioners and people not waning to ride would love to go in they should use wrist bands to show on rides and pay about £5 to just walk around. also no drinks or food sweets etc they even Search your bag. We are also hearing they will be stopping smoking,

Waste of money

I went last week and was not impressed. Queue times were ok but not great. Luckily I had printed my ticket (I always do as backup), if I hadn’t my phone battery would not last the day as you have to scan EVERY ride - why?I’m not happy about having to update my photo to activate my e-ticket. It was not mentioned Oreo-purchase and there is no legitimate reason it is required. Data protection law says you can’t ask for data that is not required, so I will be following this up. I emailed about the photo requirement 2 weeks before going and had no reply. It costs more than Alton Towers! Literally 2 good rides (BigOne and Icon). Pleasure Beach, you must be nuts if you think that’s who you compete against. Alton Towers little kids section is better than your entire park. Not all rides are included in the entrance price - Enso and Impossible. The app is buggy and keeps notifying when it’s notifications are set to off killing the battery (remember you need this to scan in to every ride).Overpriced, run down, dirty, pointless scanning, and just a waste of money and time. Go to Alton Towers instead, you have more fun and it’ll be cheaper.

Good to bad

Was having a good day today 16th just two things that got me annoyed, (the first not so much) went on the ice blast and an operator on there, think his name is callam, well he made me feel a little queezy due to his bo smell ((very strong) but the one that made me leave the park was when trouble started on the ice blast due to queue jumpers that started with about 4 and very quickly the number rose to about 40, that was enough for me, so I left the park unhappy.

Me and my two little girls were left…

Me and my two little girls were left very upset yesterday (one of whom has autism) after a woman on the entrance desk searched our bags and kicked up a massive fuss about us bringing in a packed lunch that I made her aware that we had after I had previously called to let them know my children have food allergies. To which I was told was fine for us to bring packed lunch. This woman argued and argued with me infront of a que of people leaving me and my children very embarrassed and upset. She was asking me what allergies they had? What documentation I had to prove this? Who had I spoke to? As she rummaged through our packed lunch questioning what we had to eat! As soon as I asked to see a manager she quickly apologised what rubbing my arm (very patronising) she spoiled my day to say the least. I won’t be returning.

Returned to Blackpool after many years

Returned to Blackpool after many years. Unsurprisingly it hasn’t changed much but that is a GOOD THING. With so much change going on around us with technology, the news and social media making us depressed all the time it was good to revisit and old place that felt constant, reassuring and familiar like an old friend and I can’t say that with many places in the UK anymore. I felt like a kid again and that’s the point, Blackpool can do that to you. We thoroughly enjoyed the slots, the horse racing, the bingo and a round of pool and don’t forget the fish and chips. All putting a smile on our faces. A great day out without breaking the bank. In 30 years time and if I am still around (with my zimmer frame), you can keep your package, two for one, eat as much as you like, infinity pool holidays I’ll be coming back to Blackpool for my smiles.

Disappointing

Went to pleasure beach yesterday wow we chose a bad day to go! Half the rides kept breaking down and queues were horrendous. Waited 70 mins fir Pepsi na. To be told shut then tried again later to happen again! 45 min wait for ice blast for that to break down and happened with ghost train too. Derby racer shut, grand national shut until last hour of day and even big dipper had issues. I understand it was hot yesterday and safety is the highest of importance but things should be put in place for this happening. It’s a lot of money for a family to spend to waste time in queues to then only go on 3 max rides. Passes should be given to people in queues that have waited, to go on again for the rides not being able to get on or tickets refunded! I went to complain to be given a one ride speedy pass! Not good enough. Couldn’t take my own food in when my daughter is gluten free and couldn’t take in water and water in there is £2 a small bottle! Aldo everywhere is card only so children couldn’t buy things with their own money! Very disappointed and sadly I won’t be returning.

Just not worth it

Cost £160 for 4, as we entered told a 90 minute wait for the big rides, queud 30 mins for ice blast, told broke down, 40mins grand national, broke down, big one stopped, I could go on. £4.50 hotdog, 4.75 chips £2.80 Pepsi, speedy pass £27 extra, cashless throughout, cash is king. All about how many they can cram in for the money regardless of queue times, they don't care. They should reduce number of admissions to avoid long queue times but they won't,its the last time I go there, used to go a few years back, walk in, all cash, take your own food, it truly does need boycotting by all, just a week would do just to show them they need to revert back

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Extremely…

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Extremely disgusted you wanted to charge a severely disabled child who can't get out of his chair or able to go on any of the rides £40 and then charge his carer £50 just so they can walk around the park with other kids. Alton Towers certainly doesn't do this. Absolutely shameful!
