I visited the pleasure beach today with my granddaughter on her 11th birthday had an amazing day getting on all the rides we chose multiple times an managed to get on the big one in the dark when the park closed we had left it to late to get our pictures printed out ☹️ We by chance went into a closed shop an ask the more than helpful kristin moulton for help 🤞 an she went above an beyond to get me my pictures 😳 it’s the little things in life that makes memories special Thankyou Kristina we ended our day with a smile 😃
I have been a Season Pass holder since 2021 - and soon to be again in 2023 for my third year. The place may be a little rough around the edges, and the non-delivery of Valhalla did disappoint - but BPB along with other Parks are my happy place. This place holds a special place in my soul and well deserves my 5 stars for Icon alone! Keep it up Amanda!
Their decision to go "CASHLESS" has left me and others within my circle to permanently boycott their establishment both themepark and Big Blue Hotel. Absolutely disgusted by this decision but thankful many others HAVE NOT gone down this bizzare & senseless path. Absolutely ridiculous. Bye.
Best experience in the champagne coffee lounge, Alex was great with my little sisters giving her advise on which rides she would like, also helped her get over her fear of the wolf! Thank you Alex, customer service on point! Thank you for the great brews and Proseccos!
I just wanted to accompany the family to see them enjoy the rides. I was expected to pay £44 to do that, the same price as if I was going on rides. There used to be a non-rider charge of about £6 but now they don’t exist. Everyone has to pay the same. The family has already paid nearly £500 for the day 10am to 6pm and I decided that I could not afford anymore and could not justify giving the Pleasure Beach company any more money for nothing. Apparently the a Big One was closed as were other rides. The Pleasure Beach no longer lives up to its name and Blackpool in general was dirty and very disappointing. Will just have to rely on past happy memories now as I definitely won’t be coming back again.
We were here on 3rd and 4th October 2022. Absolutely loved the rides we managed to get on, such as The Big One, Icon, Infusion, The Big Dipper, Avalanche, Airbender, Ghost Train, etc. The issue we had is the over-inflated cost, especially considering that MANY of the rides were not operational on the 2 days we paid for entry. Ice Blast, Revolution, the Wallace and Gromit ride and Valhalla, were just a few that were not operational, despite having members of staff standing there at the rides, to turn people away.Whilst it is undoubtedly fun, it is so expensive, as are the vendors of gifts or food in the park. We tried to buy donuts and ended up waiting several minutes, until we walked away, as the person running the booth was nowhere to be found.Being off season, the park wasn't busy and there wasn't much queueing required. The phone app tickets were very footery and if they want us to embrace digitalisation, they need to vastly improve on that. They also really need to update alot of the rides and provide better cushioning, as we ended up battered, bruised and very sore after the rides, so much so it actually ruined alot of the fun experienced. We found most of the staff friendly, but we are raging at paying full price when so many rides were closed on both days. I think that is utter theft in broad daylight. Literally around half the rides were closed. A discount should have been given. If we come back, it'll be for only 1 day, instead of 2, as it's not worth the money, when you're being turned away from so many closed rides.I also feel I must warn all males about the Steeplechase and Avalanche - you will probably end up with crushed nuts on those rides, especially if sitting behind your other half!
Ten of us arrived from the South East and had a brilliant day. The only issue we had is that 4 of us knew of the Valhalla ride and decided to leave it to the end due to the fact that you get very very wet and we believe one of the best rides. Unfortunately it was closed and evidently had been for sometime. Our issue is that the Pleasure Beach is still advertising it which is wrong. This should most definitely be amended.
Absolute sh!te hole!!!!!, full of dust heads and alcoholics from North pier down to the pleasure Beach which definitely was no pleasure, homeless people everywhere begging and shouting at either each other or tourists. Felt quite unsafe in places and definitely and place to avoid.
