Feel like I've been robbed! No help whatsoever!

I went to Blackpool pleasure beach last August for my daughters bday. 5 of us as you imagine £200+ just for the tickets. Several rides closed as you can imagine the kids were devastated, 1 being the valhalla the only ride they wanted on the way home as they would be soaked. No announcements to say it was shutting half way through the day, so nobody knew an there were a lot of UNHAPPY PEOPLE. When I'd got home I emailed in an said they would give me 5 complimentary tickets to use before Aug this year which I'm very thankful for. We've heard via the media that Several rides are being stopped this summer due to costs so I'm back in the same boat again were Several are shut. I'm over 90mins away an wanted to attend with all rides open. As you can imagine I don't expect to get there an its the same thing. I have emailed in an said I'd rather not attend if all rides aren't on. An said I'd rather have a refund for the original tickets I'd paid. An there being really rude about it, I'm getting nowere an im really disappointed how blunt they are. Either way the tickets cost so I dont see why they don't reimburse me. Absolute joke! I've been coming to Blackpool since I was a child myself an the fact it's having to cut costs is devastating. As most customers coming won't be happy either! Can someone help me please! I do appreciate the complimentary ones but I'd rather have my money back as its not what it was unfortunately

Yet another negative result of lockdown

BPB is yet another victim of Covid and lock down I'm afraid. We used to love this place when they did WOW weekends but now it costs the same as the height of season, despite the Big One always being shut in March. We have visited every year (sometimes twice) since 2016 but with an ever growing family (now 13 with grandchildren included) we simply can't justify the expense. You even now have to pay for non riders which goes against everything the pleasure beach has ever done. The reason I've loved it since I was a child is that it was so much more flexible than standard theme parks. It has priced us out of the market. So much so that our annual birthday trip to Blackpool will be moved to a cottage on the coast next year. Between Sandcastle and the Pleasure beach's massive price hikes and change in pricing/visit structure since lockdown we no longer see a trip to Blackpool as a cheap family trip

Good rides dodge the stall staff

Took my 3 kids for one of their birthdays on Sunday 12th March 24. Stall staff are rude 2 in particular, one asking why I wouldn't play and the other denied my disabled daughter a large prize because only her hand was over the line, bearing in mind she's knee high and has physical disabilities. She even said 'i won daddy' but the guy behind the stall said 'thanks for playing'.Rides were good infact but word of warning, don't take cash because it will not be used as legal tender. Nowhere on their site does it mention no cash, turned up with cash and was unable to use.Overall experience was utter crap.

Ordered seasonal platinum tickets for…

Ordered seasonal platinum tickets for my four grandchildren. I was told because they were for Christmas presents I'd get a gift card to give to them before Christmas then it looks like they've received a present...like they did in previous years. These never happened.Soul destroying not being able to give them anything at the time.I rung them every day about this but it was closed for Christmas and won't open until the 2nd of January. I phoned on the 2nd January to be told they'd decided not to do the gift card this year. And to top it off it's cost me £13 to phone them.Disgusting to do this to children. You should be ashamed.

Staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Massively overpriced and dirty.

Visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach yesterday. There are some good rides, though many are dated and very rough. But the staff are awful and we had a couple of incidents when there:To begin with, at the gate security, we were rudely informed that picnic food is not allowed in the pleasure beach. We had brought food in for two reasons: 1. myself and my partner are vegan, and our children vegetarian, and we find it difficult to find food we can eat. And 2. one of my children is autistic and extremely picky with food. There are only a handful of foods she is able to eat, so I have to carry those foods with me when we go anywhere. The woman at the security gate did not elaborate that the park policy actually states: "Allowances are made for guests with special dietary requirements" or that "Guests with special dietary requirements can report to an Ambassador upon arrival", which I later discovered when I looked up the park FAQs. Nor did she direct us to the lockers located next to the entrance where presumably we could have stored our food and eaten it outside the park. She was extremely rude, unhelpful and argumentative, and my partner had to walk 30 minutes to the car and back to drop off our food, whilst I waited with three very impatient children. Of course we then also had to take an hour out of our day to go back to the car and eat our food. This was hugely inconvenient and really spoiled our day.The second incident was when we attempted to get on the River Caves ride. Before getting on the ride we had first established, like we always do, who will sit with whom as, as I previously mentioned, one of my children is autistic and needs support whilst on rides, particularly dark rides, as this one is. However, when we got to the front of the queue the man organising getting onto the ride was very rude and abrupt and dictated to us where we should sit to balance the ride. That's fair enough, but he was very rude about it, rushing us and giving us no time to reassure my daughter and explain to her what was happening, which would have taken mere moments (there was no one else in the queue behind us so what the rush was I don't know!). Then, to my astonishment, he actually physically took hold of my autistic daughter's arm, pinning her against the metal railings, and refused to let her get onto the ride until we were all on. This distressed her immensely. She is very sensitive to touch and has social anxiety so severe she was wearing a face mask and a hood throughout the day so no one would attempt to look at or speak to her. My partner had to get into an altercation with the man to let her go, telling him not to touch young girls and that his behaviour was outrageous. When we were finally all on the ride we were very shocked by what just happened, and my daughter spent the entire ride sitting alone having a panic attack because, as she perceives it, she was physically assaulted by a male staff member. She barely leaves the house because of her social anxiety, theme parks being a rare exception because she loves thrill rides, and something like this only adds to her fear of the outside world. Once we got off the ride my partner again spoke to the male staff member in question, explaining how much distress he had caused. He apologised but continued to defend his actions. This event ruined the rest of our day. My daughter continued to feel panicked, unsafe and sick with anxiety throughout the rest of our time at the park and I had to spend considerable time reassuring her and trying to calm her down.It cost us £159 for five people, which is much more than any other theme park. And the whole place is run-down and just looks crap. I'll be sticking with Alton Towers where the staff are lovely and the park is clean.

Great Rides. Rude Staff

The rides are great and we'll worth the money. However, what let's the park down are the staff and their bad attitude. This started at the entrance and continued throughout. Very much a cant be bothered approach.
