If you have items from Japan which can deliver only to JP, Blackship got your back.I spoke with Jenna on countless times and she was so cool and helpful, a joy to interact with. The prices to deliver to Germany are horrible, but that is due to the huge costs taken by the shipping companies so BlackShip can´t be blamed.They kept one delivery almost 90 days for free, then I got some more and they packed everything nicely in one of the existing boxes.Without priority, the preparation took around 10 working days and then with DHL Express to Germany, another 5 working days, Zoll included - which I could pay online.For 300€ worth of items, I had to pay 200€ for shipping and taxes, so I guess it´s not the best deal, unless you find something truly unique and you want it.One negative: only USD payments are possible, which I don´t like - in JPY was much better .
Blackship has recently stopped taking payments in anything other than USD.They claim this is no different and a benefit over offering payments in JPY, AUD, CAD and EUR. They are either lying about this or don't care about the increased fees this change causes to anyone not using USD.With this change, they have no benefit over other Japanese forwarders or proxy services.
