Pricing model is misleading and tucked away in the Booksy T&C's
Great pre sales support from Lauren, very average after sales support from Adriana (slow to reply - it at all)
All in all I would probably look at someone like Fresha
I had an appointment booked through Booksy on 9th February at 12:00 with a barber at SPUK Studio. I was physically present at the appointment — I have proof of parking payment at the exact time and video evidence from inside the salon.
Despite this, the business marked me as a “no show” in the system. This automatically removed my ability to leave a review.
In my opinion, this raises serious concerns. If a business can simply mark a client as “no show” after a negative experience, it effectively prevents customers from leaving honest feedback.
I contacted Booksy support and provided evidence of my attendance. However, I was informed that they cannot change the appointment status without the business owner’s permission.
This means that businesses fully control the review flow, even in situations where a customer has clear proof of attendance.
As a result, the review system does not feel transparent or fair. Customers should have protection against this kind of situation.
Very disappointing experience.
They will charge you in every way possible and hold back clients from seeing your page unless you use boost which is an extra charge. People will book and you won't get any notification. This booking app is not it. I used this app for a year and they charged me twice a month for the entire year wouldn't refund me for double paying even though they can clearly see I only use one account.
I am highly disappointed with the service I've received from booksy as of late ive been with booksy for the pass 8 years or so an one of the reasons I stayed on this platform was because it felt safe. As a business owner in our world today your business can rise a fall based on our reviews, businesses thrive on Reliability, quality of service, honesty an sense of trust. As a subscriber I represent Booksy an pride myself on bringing good business to the platform an I've managed to do so for the entire time that I've used the platform. Recently Booksy changed there policy which now allows clients who didn't even receive a service from you to leave a bad review on your platform which wasn't always so an from my experience in order for someone to leave a review on your profile they had to atleast receive a service from your establishment to based the review on, as a longterm paying client an subscriber to the platform there needs to be some sort of protection for us as business owners to feel safe to conduct business, an when I called customer service they treated me like a stranger an that hurt, if there's no protection for clients that are using the platform an bringing good business to your platform then what are we paying you for, this has been a terrible waste of my time. I would highly NOT recommend the use of this platform to upcoming business owners simply because your loyalty means NOTHING to them, an anyone can go on your profile even if they never made contact with you or your business an leave a bad review which initially can harm your business in the long run

I was originally contacted by a member of their team (David) who explained the benefits Booksy could have for my business. I was then assigned an account manager (Katy) who has walked me through the process helping me set up my profile and attract clients - due to personal matters there were several times I had to cancel or reschedule meetings & phone calls with them both but they were very understanding.Can't say a bad word about the team at all, been good to me :) may the good work carry on, thank you Booksy!
