I've encountered a really bad experience with one of the engineers who came out today. First impression, he seemed to be busy over the phone with someone, not even paying attention to what I had to tell him about the issue! Asked him a question and he gave absolutely no response, as if he didn't want to be here.

He took his electronic devices and did a few checks. He asked me what the problem was, and I told him the washing machine is turning on and was washing, but didn't seem to be drying at all. He asked me to help him push some buttons as he was wearing gloves, and then he opened the bottom of the washing machine.

He saw 1 little dead cockrach and he said "There you go, you have an infestation in the washing machine, and this is why your machine is not working! "And the board is gone!

I asked him if he could move the machine so that we could visually check and confirm if there were any cockroaches, but he refused to do anything. He did not even bother moving the washing machine.

He said to me, "Your warranty is void, and that was it. He did not open anything or even check the back. Later, we did a check, took photos and videos, but there was nothing around the back of the washing machine, and nothing crawling!! The engineer blatantly lied in his report that he had seen loads of cockroaches all over inside the washing machine!! I guess he is just an incompetent engineer who just wanted to be in and out of the job without really fixing the problem.

Unashamed, the engineer wrote in the report - Please do not rebook this call back. Also found controls boards faulty and the relay clicking.

He seemed to be in a rush and just left.

Complaining to the Teamleader, I was told I now need to get a certificate or note for pest control before they can look at it again. I was quoted by Pest Control - £120 survey plus extra for visits! Until this is sorted, they will not be looking into the machine. That response does not guarantee they will come and fix the machine!

I have paid for a very expensive Machine that only worked for a year, and now excuses upon excuses for voiding the warranty, and the engineer did not even propose a solution or resolution! Probably the first and last time using Bosch! Very unhappy with the outcome, and reading several similar experiences confirms my point.

I've now been shafted twice by Bosch and the hopeless warranty registration.
It doesn't tell you how long the warranty is for.
I've spent £1800 on a tumble dryer and dishwasher both advertised with a 5 year extended warranty, what you expect when buying their top of the line products, and one of the reasons I paid so much as I know I have at least 5 years use out of the products.
I have now been told both are only a 2 year warranty and Bosch just don't give a toss.
I've not even been given the opportunity to extent the tumble dryer that's still within the 2 year warranty.

Not fit for purpose...... they should have fixed it for free. I will not buy and more of there products, it was not a cheap freezer.

Sadly, is it 7 am? What person on the planet thinks 7 am is a good idea when you’ve got to get your kids up ready for school in the morning I’ve had to get up at 6 o’clock this morning just so I can get the place ready for 7 am when they come to fix the dryer what a crock.! it shouldn’t be allowed to come to any appointments until at least 9 am. I am disabled as well, so I don’t need to get an extra early to make sure I’m at washed and dressed! I’ve had this fault for a year so we shall see if they actually fix it cause I hope like to God I don’t have to call him out again!
Let’s just hope he’s fixed it as he came at 7:20 this morning. I still think the early mornings is a bit silly. It was dark when he got here….

Extremely disappointing customer service experience.

I encountered extremely disappointing customer service. An 18v battery failed to charge just two months after buying it. The first problem was that I couldn't register the batteries on the warranty website, as they aren't categorized as tools, despite some being pricier than tools. This forced me to make phone calls and arrange for collection through their service center instead of handling it online. I began these calls on 24/11/2025, but the response was very slow, leading to 14 follow-up emails across various departments. I finally received a replacement battery on 14/01/2026. It shouldn't take weeks of frustrating follow-ups to get a replacement for a faulty item. I will reconsider purchasing from this brand in the future.

Electronics malfunctioned just after warranty period; little support received.

The electronics stopped working after just 2 years and 1 month. I received minimal assistance from the company. I was left without a dishwasher for five months and had to purchase a new one myself. It genuinely seems like the appliance was made to fail shortly after the warranty expires. For a so-called “premium” brand, this is simply unacceptable. I will not consider this brand again and cannot recommend it.

Unsatisfactory Quality for Price Paid

I bought a cordless vacuum from a well-known brand for £320, expecting a reliable product, but it has been a significant disappointment. The original suction tube began to crack near the handle, leading me to buy a genuine replacement in February 2025 – now, in December 2025, this new tube is also cracking in the same spot. Additionally, the dust bucket cracked and needed replacement. For a product at this price point from a reputable brand, this represents a serious quality issue. The durability is very poor – I cannot recommend it. Proceed with caution before making a purchase!

I purchased the Bosch Unlimited 7 Pet BCS71PETGB cordless vacuum for £320, hoping for a reliable product, but it has been extremely disappointing. The original suction tube started cracking near the handle, prompting me to buy a genuine replacement in February 2025 – now, in December 2025, this new tube is also cracking in the same area. Moreover, the dust bucket cracked and needed replacement. For a product at this price from a reputable brand, this is a significant quality failure. The durability is very poor – I cannot recommend it. Be cautious before buying!

Consistently Reliable Appliances

I understand that appliances can malfunction, but I can't grasp the low ratings for this brand overall. We have been very satisfied with all our appliances from this manufacturer, with our newest one (a dishwasher) being over 5 years old and the others even older. I began purchasing their products after seeing my grandparents' dishwasher last over 15 years. Our washing machine was recently replaced only due to wanting a larger drum; it performed excellently for 8 years and is now serving another family member. They are well-built compared to other brands we've tried.

Fragile Product Quality

I bought a 5-burner gas hob a year ago. Its performance was excellent, but while cleaning, my worktop saver slipped and hit the corner, causing it to shatter completely. I'm stunned that a cooker worth £700 can break into pieces just from a minor bump.
