One of my favorite places to shop. High quality items and a quiet atmosphere. I love taking my time to browse the aisles, as there is always something new and interesting season.
I went to return two tops that didn’t fit me. Upon reviewing my return receipt, I noticed they deducted Kohl's cash that I never had for that order. When I called to address this, I was told that my previous order was eligible for Kohl's cash, which could be used for future purchases. My issue is that when I returned the tops, they deducted Kohl's cash that I supposedly earned for an order I never received any cash for. It feels unfair since this was meant for future orders. Furthermore, when I tried to escalate the matter, I was unable to speak with a supervisor. I requested a callback, but I doubt it will happen. If this isn't resolved, I plan to stop using my card and shop at other retailers, as their prices are more competitive. The items at Kohl's are generally overpriced, and the discounts don’t make them any more appealing compared to others.
I purchased numerous items during the holiday season and had to return several of them. Each time I returned an item, I received less money than what I originally paid, and instead of a cash refund, I was given store credit. I’m certain I didn’t use any store credit for those purchases. The support team seemed indifferent and unhelpful. It feels like a systematic issue where customers are being shortchanged on returns, with an emphasis on pushing store credit instead of fair refunds, leading to a cycle of dissatisfaction.
I placed an order on 12-02-25. The item was confirmed to be in stock. I received a notification the same day that it was ready for shipping and awaiting pick-up. After that, there were no further updates or tracking information. Two weeks later, I utilized the online chat and was advised to wait another 6 days. After that period, I called and the automated system indicated that it had shipped. I waited an additional week with no package arriving. Eventually, I managed to speak with a representative who, after some searching, revealed that there was no record of my order. I opted for the offered refund and will see if it is processed. This was intended as a Christmas gift, and just two days before the holiday, I had to rush out to find a replacement. The entire experience was very frustrating, and I wouldn't give any stars if that were an option. I will not shop or place orders with this service again and cannot recommend using the website.
One star is too generous. I made a purchase through the platform and it turned into a frustrating experience. The item was marked as "shipped" for 10 days, even though it was supposed to arrive by now. When I reached out, the representative offered a refund that would take 7 days or a replacement that might arrive in 5-10 days, but they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't face the same delay. What a disappointment. I urge everyone to reconsider shopping here to help them go out of business.
I placed an order and mistakenly sent it to the wrong location, which resulted in it being returned to the seller. I reached out to them, and they assured me that I would receive a refund on the debit card used for the gift card. However, I have yet to receive it. After speaking with multiple representatives over the last three months, I was told different stories. The last representative informed me that I would get my gift card by November 28 and that I would also receive $40 in cash for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, neither of these promises were fulfilled. When I called again, a supervisor suggested that the $40 was my refund, but I had spent much more than that on gifts since my original order. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and consider legal action over a seemingly simple order, as the customer service has been consistently unhelpful and misleading. I am now closing my account and will not be spending any more money with them.
This retailer has significantly declined. Their ordering website is frustrating. It provides varying delivery dates once the order is marked as 'fulfilled.' In summary, if you place an order, you're out of luck trying to recover your money, gift card balance, or any promotional offers you used. Everything is just wasted!
I ordered two pairs of christmas pj's for my kids. When I went to pick up at my local Kohls, only one pj set was there. Apparently I ordered the other set to West Allis, WI's Kohls (almost two hours away from me.) My bad! But I must of hit picked up when looking for my item at the other Kohls because customer service won't refund me money since the pj's "were picked up." Way to rob your customers for a product they never received, and having a system that is bogusly set up for people who have never used it before. What's worse is you could have just sent the product to my store since it's already paid for, but you're literally gonna keep my money and say "don't do it again; watch what you're clicking." If they were a small business, they'd be done for doing that to customers.
I just came out of Kohl's in Washington, Utah. It was around 6:15pm. They close at 10pm. I was going to make a Amazon return and then do some Christmas shopping. There were signs all over the place they closed Amazon down at 5pm. I wanted to speak to the manager. He says they are understaffed and there was no one in the store. I pointed it out to him that he was in the wrong. He threatened to make it so I cannot shop there. Well, I will never shop at Kohl's again. I am closing my Kohl's account.He said his name was Charles.
Tried to purchase an item that was on cyber Monday sale first thing Monday morning and it was out of stock (discontinued by manufacturer so presumably not getting more) but miraculously it is back in stock at full price on Tuesday. When I called the online order number I could barely understand the representatives who were insisting I give my email before they could help me. They claim no price adjustment can be done. Yesteryear this was called bait and switch. Won’t be shopping there ever.
