I can't express enough how the service made our time in Kenya hassle-free. We had no issues with connecting flights; there were people ready to greet us at the airport and take us to our camp, and everyone was so welcoming. The safaris were breathtaking, with local guides sharing their insights about the land and its magnificent wildlife. We felt honored to be welcomed at a local village. The sunrise over the plains was a moment I will always treasure. I plan to return to Africa and will definitely book with this service again.
Brilliant Africa are as the name says...brilliant. The itinerary put together for my family was exceptional. Three very different camps in Northern Tanzania which gave us unique viewing opportunities. All transfers and arrangements went absolutely seamlessly. Cannot recommend them more highly.
Alyson & Tracy were amazing to work with and they planned an incredible vacation. Tracy really listened to what we were hoping to get out of the trip and the types of accomodation and experiences we were hoping to have and planned a perfect itinerary (with flexibility when we had suggestions).We felt very prepared leading up to the trip with Aly providing a lot of helpful information on visas, vaccines, and packing. She was quite responsive and always very helpful.Our trip itself was a dream. We were able to see 4 of the Big 5, a lioness on a successful hunt, and spent a few relaxing days in Zanzibar. All of the logistics and travel were handled smoothly and our guides were so knowledgable, helpful, and great to spend time with.Highly recommend booking with Brilliant Africa!
Tracy and Alyson created the ultimate "bucket list" trip for my wife and I to Tanzania/Zanzibar and our expectations were truly exceeded! The lodges/camps/inns we stayed at were exceptional, with first class accommodations, food and service. Our personal safari guide for the first 8 days through Tarangire and Ngorongoro parks, Daniel M., was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful person who's number one goal was to ensure we saw as much of the parks and wildlife as possible (including the elusive black rhino), without exhausting these sixty-something travelers. Our guide in the Serengeti, Alan, showed us so much incredible wildlife, including a Mara River wildebeest crossing (several thousand animals), leopards (2 sitings), lion (a group of 20-30 lions finishing an evening wildebeest meal. Our amazing trip concluded with a stay at the beautiful Bawe Island resort a few kilometers off Zanzibar. Ironically, this was the one place where our bathroom was outdoors (and unforgettably awesome)!
We had an extraordinary trip thanks to the great work by Aly Morgan and Tracy Edwards in planning the trip and executing it to perfection. First, Tracy worked with me to identify our interests and develop a plan that allowed us to see and do everything we were interested in. Then Aly took over to work with me on the details, to patiently answer my enormous number of questions, and to constantly reassure me that everything would work out. Which it did! In particular, whenever someone was supposed to meet us, the person was always there waiting for us. The sights we saw were fabulous, including thousands of wildebeests crossing the Mara River as part of the Great Migration. Plus the food was great everywhere we stayed. I will recommend Brilliant Africa to any friends who are thinking about a trip to Africa.
