Tracy and Brilliant Africa Team was excellent from the word go. Tracy responded to each of our emails and often answered our numerous dumb questions patiently. The planning was impeccable and she and her team made last minute changes to keep us close to the migrating animals so that we have the best views. Her local partners in Tanzania and Kenya were also very good. A shout out to Peter from Nature Discovery for guiding us throughout the safari and making our trip memorable!
We’ve been fortunate to have experienced a number of different safaris in Africa but this was our first trip to Kenya and ‘Brilliant Africa’ came up trumps all round. We are both in our 70’s and really enjoy wildlife viewing and photography. From my first contact with Marc I was impressed. He helped us plan a wonderful 3 centred trip which came together perfectly making it such a relaxing experience. The only minor hiccup came at one accommodation but it was quickly sorted by Marc’s local team and we were immediately upgraded. The guides were all very knowledgable and added much to our Safari experience. We would highly recommend Brilliant Africa and wouldn’t hesitate booking with them again.
Being part of an extraordinary conservation effort to keep the world’s Gorillas safe was humbling and moving. After a truly awesome first day with the Gorillas we didn’t think it could get better but it did, second day was incredible. We turned off phones and cameras listened to the sounds of the forest and the fabulous gorillas. The ranchers professional. Everything well planned.Staff at Buhoma Lodge were delightful. Food just what we wanted. A wonderful trip I would recommend to anyone.
Having been on many African adventures my time in Uganda with brilliant Africa was top of them all. What an incredible experience visiting Buhoma Lodge and Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest. From being picked up with perfect packed lunches at the airstrip, to the hot water bottles in our beds, to the delicious food and wonderful staff… Not to mention once in a lifetime gorilla trekking… I cannot speak more highly of the experience. Not a single complaint from a very picky traveller!

Brilliant Africa and Marc created a truly memorable experience for us with our Kenya and Uganda itinerary! From the start Marc was very accommodating in creating various tailored options for our trip to Kenya and Uganda, while also giving recommendations that he believed would be most suitable for us and the immersive adventure we were after. Moreover, Marc helped me craft my proposal in Uganda and connected me with all the relevant partners to ensure the proposal came out to be a surprise for her as well as the ultimate romantic experience for both of us! The trip itself was impeccably organised to the very detail and the local partners were kind and knowledgeable and made sure we left with a feeling of wanting to come back.
Our experience with Brilliant Africa was seamless and truly exceptional! Tracy was very knowledgeable and helpful in providing several options for our trip to Tanzania. She was extremely responsive and made the communication process easy. Because it was our first trip to Zanzibar, we wanted to spend most of our time exploring the island. We didn’t book a safari but we spent 2 amazing nights on Mnemba Island. Mnemba Island wasn’t like anything my husband and I had ever experienced! Everything about the island was incredible and it was certainly the highlight of our trip! The staff was great, very personable and welcoming. The food was incredible and the beach was unbelievable. Lastly, the property and bandas were unreal. We were blown away! Our 1 year anniversary was unbelievably special and so many memories were made. This experience wouldn’t have been possible without Tracy and the team at Brilliant Africa. Not only was the planning process smooth, but so was the execution. Thank you so very much! We would 100% recommend to family and friends and we’d definitely use Brilliant Africa for future reservations.
What a fantastic Safari trip to Uganda. We had 17 nights in 6 different camps/lodges and all were great. The variety of things to do and see was brilliant, Classic game drives, walking safaris, Boat safaris, Golden monkeys, Chimps and the Silverbacks (unreal). Finished off with Whitewater rafting on the Nile. The trip was well organised and we really loved our time in Uganda. Thanks Marc and all the team at Brilliant Africa.
