Dealing with this company has been very frustrating. They were sent out initially to fix a fault on a brand new Delonghi cooker. The Engineer did not have any of the relevant information from Delonghi on how to carry out the repair and has insisted new parts need to be ordered without even trying the suggested fix of resetting the thermostat. I am now in complete limbo as follow up appointments continue to be cancelled as they say the parts needed are not in stock despite me trying to explain that new parts may not be needed and the appliance could be fixed with a reset as suggested by Delonghi. It is very difficult to speak to anyone directly involved in the job and seems near impossible for information to be passed through to the Engineer adequately.

I insured my appliances through Domestic & General, and my repair was forwarded to AutoWash. It took five days just to secure the initial appointment. When the engineer eventually attended, I was informed that a new power cord was required for the tumble dryer and that it would be ordered and replaced.However, I was not advised that I needed to contact AutoWash myself to book a follow-up appointment. I therefore waited again , assuming they would contact me once the replacement part arrived. As no update was provided, I contacted AutoWash again, only to be told that the next available appointment was a further seven days away, which is completely unreasonable.I am extremely disappointed that Domestic & General continues to use repair companies that clearly do not have sufficient engineering capacity to support customers. If a relatively simple repair takes weeks to complete, it significantly undermines the value of having appliance cover—especially for appliances that are used daily.
Autowash now Pacifica. Pre-paid over £140 for an oven repair and part beginning Aug 25. Many fruitless tel calls since. Many promises to refund for goods/services not provided ..we have seen Halloween, Remembrance Sunday and are looking forward to Christmas and still no refund! They won't even send an email to confirm they will refund. Don't bother, use another small local company that cares. Ongoing! Will update this review in the New Year.
Would rate zero stars if I could! Absolutely terrible. Ryley came out to fix the heating fan on my washer dryer. He instead broke my full machine. Instead of correcting the issue caused by their engineer they wanted me to wait weeks before fitting me in. Promised several times that I would receive call backs and they would reschedule for sooner however the only time I received a call back was once the job had been removed from them and placed with another company. Try to lodge a formal complaint and their complaints team are just as ignorant as the rest of their staff!
John, the engineer, arrived within the allocated slot time. He was polite and friendly; identified the problem quickly and was able to provide the necessary part and complete the repair immediately. He was thorough and tidy ensuring everything was checked and cleared up once he had finished.The only downside was that my original appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for 5 days later leaving us without a washing machine for that period.
A visit from the engineer to assess the need to replace parts was followed by … nothing . I paid the initial sum £75 for the consultation and contacted the company 3 times regarding the timeframe. Nothing at all . 3.5 months later I still haven’t got a clue if anything has been ordered . Extremely unhelpful and the company has an “ internal “ complaint process which means nobody is available to hear your grievances. Avoid them . I’m not even sure if this is a real operation or some form of conmanshhip
John arrived within the time frame and efficiently repaired my machine. He took time to check for other possible issues. He showed me how to remove and replace the filter in the machine properly. He was polite and spent time answering my questions.
