Review Time
I am so pleased I discovered British supplements, I have tried the nettle for hayfever, magnesium and the vitamin D and I see a big difference when taking them! As with any supplement it takes time for the changes to happen but with consistent use and knowing I am taking pure ingredients rather than any other unnecessary stuff added, ill continue to use and recommend them to anyone who will listen!
I was delighted to find this company a few years ago. I have looked at the list of ingredients on the supplements I used to take from wellknown companies and cannot understand why they need to use so many bulk fillers in their products. You will only find necessary ingredients in British Supplement products. I recommend Lions Mane to rid you of brain fog and regain the clarity of your youth.
Using clean berberine for quite a few months. I was sceptical before I bought as my blood sugar is too high and nothing seem to be bringing it down. However I recently had the blood tests at the hospital and it’s actually dropped! I was amazed and will continue to purchase berberine from British Supplements !
Like so many supplement 'companies' out there, not only in the UK but abroad, specially the US, this 'company' is in the bandwagon category just for the money. There are two main red flags:1. When a website says almost nothing about their products.2. When a website says far too much in order to lure you to buy their products. It's called 'click bate' advertising.Be fooled by everything you read, see, hear, and be fooled again, and again.
I love the straight talking truth of this man and his company and detest the ever increasing suppression on our ability for choice. I wiill never support Big Pharma and have always preferred to help myself with as natural products as poss, eat good food and take exercise. I take 9 supplements which help my various ailments. I am a senior with a positive attitude.
I'm just about to re-order, I'm working on a combination of supplements that will suit my neurological disorder, and my age, and generally improve my life. I really appreciate the straightforward upfront informative openess of British Supplements. I can read accurate information about what I'm buying, and I like the no nonsense approach. I don't want fluff and hype, I don't need nonsense. I like buying British, I like that there's a face to the name, and I like the swift response and speedy delivery of my order, and getting what I'm paying for.
My first experience with this company didn't get off to the best start as they sent me the wrong supplements but after some photo proof of the supplements and the paperwork that came with it they were happy to send me the correct supplements. My next experience was with their chat Support to determine if their Q10 was Ubiquinol or Ubiquinone because it wasn't stated on the product page and it's important that it's Ubiquinol. We went round and round a bit with confirmations going both ways:4:50 PMWe're offering the following supplement : (provides links but they're not allowed on TP)We don't stock Ubiquinone at the moment.4:52 PMYes I can confirm that it is Ubiquinone.brett lee4:53 PMWe don't stock Ubiquinone currently and apologies for the confusion.brett lee4:54 PMApologies for the confusion let me clarify it for you. We stock Unbiquinone not Ubiquinol at the moment.brett leeI dropped an email to the only address I had which was to a Chris because I thought they'd want to be aware and maybe address the confused Support but I didn't hear back.My next experience was to determine the method of extraction of their Lion's Mane because it's not stated on the website as it's important in order to get the clinical benefits. I fired off a quick email with some questions:1. Is your Lion’s Mane dual-extracted (both hot water and alcohol) to preserve both water-soluble beta-glucans and alcohol-soluble diterpenes (hericenones/erinacines)?2. Is it made from 100% fruiting body (no grain-grown mycelium), and is the starch content tested?3. Do you have independent lab analysis showing beta-glucan %, and (if applicable) hericenone/erinacine content? But I didn't get an answer there. My only other experience is with an email this morning (received also on Wednesday) evidently sent to all site members detailing an angry email exchange between a potential customer and the company titled "The kind of nonsense we get for being British". Eek! I'm kinda confused why I needed to see this:"Business is a two-way street, if you don’t like our straight-talking style, don’t buy from us. We’d rather keep our products for customers who value honesty over corporate waffle and lies. We don’t sell to everyone, and we don’t want to. All the best in finding a real supplement company, you’ll need it"I mean, it's certainly one approach to customer relations:)I may well give them another shot but it's been a bit of a slog in the month since I've come across them so I'm giving them a lower score for now.
