Review Time
Arrived on time. Installation went well. All good. Only quarm. I was advised my first payment would come out on the agreed date however a payment came out before then for the dates in between installation and first payment. This is fine and logical however it was explained differently at the time I spoke to an agent to arrange installation. Everything else great
My previous ISP, Andrews and Arnold, had rock solid service and amazing customer support. The level of technical detail available online and over the phone was second to none. However, due to openreach dragging their feet for years, A&A were unable to provide a full FTTP service. BRSK moved in to the area over the summer and after multiple visits from salesmen, I finally decided to switch to BRSK. I needed to be convinced of two things. That I could use my own equipment and that customer service would be responsive and provide configuration details. I was promised both.So, the good points. I ordered the 2Gbps service and it has been rock solid with no slow downs and very low latency. On occasions it actually tests slightly higher than the 2Gbps that I'm paying for. I've also been able to use my own router which has made a massive improvement to both wired and wireless performance.The bad is that support has been unresponsive to a request for SIP connection details. I ported a number to them, which succeeded without issue. However, their only instruction for use was to plug my analogue phone in to their router. I don't use their router and I use a Yealink DECT base station. So I need the configuration to get this to work.They have ignored two online ticket requests for that information. Not only that, raising a ticket hasn't provide a ticket number, isn't trackable on line and hasn't even produced an automated email to say it had been received.So, you will probably get a fast and solid connection but don't expect anything more than extremely basic customer service. There is zero technical information online. If you are likely to need anything more than a connection, then look elsewhere.
Had brsk for a year upgraded last week and never known anything like it I’ve rang and rang and left tickets for someone to contact me but that hasn’t happened i upgraded to get better internet not worse cant play the Xbox at all now as it throws me off every game
Wouldn't recommend.I signed up on 3rd November, on the basis their current £300 credit promo would cover the cost of the early termination fee for leaving my old company early, WiFi AND TV included. Low and behold, I only get an early termination email for WiFi, not the TV package, therefore still being in contract with them for another 12 months. The WiFi and TV got installed on 4th, since then, I have emailed several times trying to get hold of someone who will tell me whether I can leave without being charged due to the sales rep who came to my house lying about all being covered. I get no reply - at all. The only emails I do get, are for other people, one called Samantha and one called Chris Nash.I message on Facebook messenger, a reply for a couple of messages - then nothing. I message on WhatsApp, get brief replies for a few messages, then nothing, again. Why was I told both my remaining contract for the TV qnd early termination fee for broadband would be covered up to the value of £300, when this isn't true?Why is it I've been trying for 3 weeks to get hold of someone I cannot?Why is it, when I've tried to get a reply before the 14 day cooling off period ends, do I only get replies for other people, none for myself.Why is it when my partner (not a customer) emails off her email address by accident, she gets a reply. Yet when I (a customer) email at the same time, I get no reply from you?
I rang BRSK to complain that I didn't have any service due to outages and was promised an engineer would visit same day.BRSK Sent subcontractors ( out of hours) who came same evening and fixed the issue. My grandsons were over the moon to the net working again so quickly to resume playing games on their consoles.
