Unpleasant Experience at Local Shops

I've been visiting two local shops for several years, and there's a strange atmosphere where customers seem to be seen as the problem. The staff would likely have a better work experience without the constant influx of shoppers. It's a very toxic environment.

Could be great if it weren't for the customers!

I've visited two different local shops over the years, and there's an odd culture where the staff seem to view the customers as the main problem. Their work environment would undoubtedly improve without the constant flow of shoppers. It's an incredibly toxic atmosphere.

No refund. Is this even permissible?

I recently bought some potatoes from a local store. Upon opening the bag, I found them green and starting to sprout. I returned immediately to exchange them for another bag, but the owner refused to swap or refund my purchase!

Brighton Station...AVOID AT ALL COSTS…

At the Brighton Station location...AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING....I tried to buy something this morning, but their contactless machine malfunctioned. After being told to tap my card again and assured I wouldn't be charged twice, I later received two notifications of charges. When I asked for a refund, I was told to return the next day when the manager would be available...terrible service!

I appreciate the store but I have to set boundaries…

I appreciate the store, but I need to draw the line. Feeling unwell on my way home, I stopped in to buy a box of pain relievers. I was shocked to find the price was £1.50 for just 16 tablets. Other stores sell them for under 50p. Why is this shop allowed to overcharge customers? Prices need regulation.

Staff showed blatant disrespect

I had a truly dreadful experience at a local shop. This place serves as a pickup point for several online orders. I showed my collection code, but the staff claimed it didn’t match my package and refused to hand it over, taunting me while doing so. They spoke about me in another language, laughed, and rejected my request for the manager's name to file a complaint. The level of disrespect I faced was shocking and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Manager unhelpful and rude...

The manager was unhelpful and dismissive towards someone clearly struggling with mental health issues. They refused bathroom access, resulting in an embarrassing situation. A female assistant tried to help but was overruled by the manager. This place needs serious customer service training and sensitivity.
